Cape Trib beach house gives you the opportunity to have a secluded bit of rainforest and beach away from the busier parts of the Daintree. The restaurant is good, portions are large. You can sit on an idyllic beach with just a couple of others hearing and seeing the rainforest animals as waves lap upon the beach. We saw Cassowary at the property twice in our 3 day stay. You can’t go in the water, but that is true of all FNQ. This is not a luxury property but maybe a more authentic feel, the rooms have the basic necessities and are clean and comfortable. The property is well located for Daintree activities, we did both the horse riding and ziplining, both of which were excellent and can be organised by the staff.

How relaxing this place is. Surrounded by rain forrest, lovely pool, great chef for dinners, happy guests. Quiet time with no wi-fi. Lovely beach. Had a very nice time here.

The room was very clean, the dinner on site was delicious, the short access to one of the most beautiful beaches we have seen...it was lovely to walk in during low tide early in the morning. Staff were very friendly and we loved strolling down the forested pathway to our Ribbon Cabin.

The staff was very friendly the room lacked charm. No wall decor just plane old white dingy walks with a stained bed cover . The bathroom was serviceable but had a very old feel and look to it. I did enjoy the pool area and the beach.

Fantastic resort for a natural tropical rainforest experience. The restaurant is staffed with friendly people as is the resort itself. A great place for a nofrills getaway where the rainforest meets the beach.
