It is conveniently placed close (1 mile) to the centre of Campbeltown with its full array of services, but has uninterrupted views over the water towards Davaar Island and Arran. Spectacular coastal scenery is only a short drive away in several directions. The house was recently refurbished and extended. The sitting room, dining room, kitchen and one of the bedrooms look over the sea. Barbreck Cottage sits in a walled garden with a sheltered space for sitting and eating outside. The situation on the side of Campbeltown Loch was a bonus - the view was stunning. We were very lucky that the weather was fantastic for our stay - everyday was sunny and bright. The property was lovely - it had 3 bedrooms, all a good size and 2 bathrooms. The living room and dining room were two very nice connected rooms. The kitchen we really only used for breakfast but it was well equipped. I would book the property again if we were returning to Campbeltown. The information from the host (Gavin) was excellent and we also had a local contact which was helpful. ##### Carol M.
