Located at the end of its own driveway and perched on the cliff top, this contemporary villa is designed to embrace the superb views. A central living area comprising open-plan sitting area, dining area and kitchen, leading via the large patio doors to the solarium and pool, is flanked by bedroom wings to each side, ensuring those great sea-views are enjoyed everywhere. The spacious and bright air-conditioned sitting and dining areas have direct views over the solarium and pool and out to the sea, and are where you will find the flat-screen TV with cable connection, DVD player (with a small selection to watch) and a PlayStation 4 (with a couple of games). The modern kitchen in black and white is fully equipped with 4-ring induction hob, built-in oven and microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, electric kettle, coffeemaker, toaster, sandwich maker and hand-held liquidizer. In the east wing is a bedroom with single beds and en-suite shower room and a second bedroom with a double bed and a shower room across the hall. The more spacious master bedroom with a double bed and en-suite shower room is in the west wing. All bedrooms are air-conditioned, benefit from direct sea-views and have patio doors opening to the solarium. The solarium runs along the whole front of the house and features an outdoor dining table, outdoor sitting area, the large rectangular infinity pool, (optionally heated), and six sun-beds. Below this is the lawn leading down to the cliff. There is a large built-in wood/coal barbecue with side worktop and sink to enjoy leisure days at the villa and a ping-pong table close by. The villa features a separate laundry with washing machine, iron and ironing board and secure parking for 2 cars is available. Cliffscape is a walled property that provides security and privacy, with a southern exposure ensuring those fantastic views and the sunniest weather in Madeira. There are many walks around Calheta and easy access to the plateau of Paul da Serra, with its many levada walks, makes this villa perfectly located for walking in Madeira and for enjoying a lovely holiday surrounded by the beautiful Madeira countryside. Guests need to vacate the villa during a mid-stay clean and change of linen. Nearby Cliffscape combines the best of all worlds: with superb panoramic sea-views and offering privacy and seclusion, surrounded by tranquil countryside, there are two small cafés/snack bars and minimarkets and a chemist only 300 metres away on foot. It is 3 Km to the resort town of Calheta, with its man-made golden sandy beach. Here you will, find a selection of cafés, restaurants, a larger supermarket, the marina (boat trips can be arranged), banks and a chemist. A 5-minute drive will take you to either of the two surfing meccas of Jardim do Mar and Paul do Mar, at sea level and with trendy café-bars (try the caipirinhas and mojitos). Funchal is an easy 35-minute drive and the airport less than 50 minutes along the motorway. Nice and modern furnishing, comfy beds, low and unsteady water pressure and temperature in the shower, defective dishwasher was repaired the next day. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und von Delilah mit allen wichtigen und hilfreichen Informationen rund um Einkauf, Restaurantbesuch und Unterkunft ausgestattet. Die Insel ist schon unglaublich schön, das Haus selbst nicht zu toppen. Das erste Mal, dass wir nicht wieder nach Hause wollten... Es liegt am Rande einer kleinen Siedlung, sehr ruhig, aber nicht zu abgeschieden. Das Haus ist geräumig, der Blick aufs Meer unglaublich schön. Wir würden wiederkommen. Auch der Kontakt zur Agentur war vorbildlich. Wir haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. ##### Britta W. Cliff house was our favorite part on the whole island and island itself it’s beautiful and has much to offer. It’s located in the country side, surrendered by empty lots and little banana farm on the left. We could watch goats down the cliff, cow on the terrace above and of course birds flying above. Just fabulous!!! Binoculars and lunette very available. Rooms are spacious, bed and linens comfortable. There was a crib in master bedroom which sent shivers down my spine. We moved it to an empty room.. Especially my 10year old, took full advantage of the pool, which in April weather it’s something, even with 24degree water temp in the pool. Kitchen had everything that we needed with welcoming foods, coffee and white wine. We ended up cooking our dinners (which we never do) because where else can you find that kind of water front dinning experience. And OMG :!there is a small,sweet, herb garden with rosemary, thyme, mint, parsley and cumin. Just loved it! The view is ever changing and you can’t get enough of it, wether with your morning coffee or glass of wine at the evening. And the whole place is so QUIET... with occasional squawking of the sea birds. House was sparkling clean and host oh so welcoming. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an wie zu Hause. Annahme und Rückgabe Schlüssel hat perfekt geklappt. Einrichtung Haus auf hohem Standart. Betten sind modern aber für mich steinhart. Da ich Rückenprobleme habe erlaube ich mir kein weiteres Urteil dazu abzugeben. Küche sehr gut ausgerüstet. Jederzeit wieder. ##### Thomas Dieter B.
