Calabash Vacation Packages

We stayed at the Sands Ocean Club Resort from 5/9-5/11. Had a late check-in and appreciated the 24/7 staffing at the front desk. Our night was quickly upset by waking up around 4am to bedbugs in room 1601. They bit my partner and left welts on his arm for the weekend, which was not pleasant. The hotel moved us to a different room for the weekend where we had no other issues. We are waiting to hear if our night with the bedbugs will be comped. The hotel is doing an "internal investigation" and told us they will follow-up. We appreciated the pool, the beach bar and the beachfront property - but everything else about the hotel was subpar. Both rooms were poorly maintained. I suggest this hotel only if your plans are to beach & sleep.

Pool was wonderful.

Room was clean and very nice. Property is beautiful. The property seemed to lack staff in hospitality, but the ones that were working were great.

We stayed in the villas and it was great. The property is beautiful and there is so much to do.

This property was extremely nice, high-end upgrades as well and jt definitely felt like home. The only negative was we were supposed to have a King bed and it was clearly two smaller beds put together. The "crease" in the middle was uncomfortable and definitely not what was advertised.
