Ich war im November 2018 für 10 Tage dort.
Das Hotel ist eine Bruchbude, völlig heruntergewirtschaftet. Wirklich alles ist dreckig und / oder kaputt. Nachttischleuchte, Duschvorhang, Bettwäsche,... Alles .
Was war gut?
A nightclub with a 2 star amenities and having seen better times run by a friendly family, just a room equipment suitable to serve for true travellers or visitors of the nightclub, who might feel an urge for privacy.
I missed breakfast, the rests looked delicious. Never judge by surface.
This place was seriously digusting. I had them change my room three times and none were better than the others. The carpet on the stairwells was ripped and stained. The rooms weren't updated at all and each bathroom felt like it hasn't been just cleaned. I've traveled widely, and often stay in budget hotels with lower expectations, but this place was seriously sub-par. I'd advise you to steer clear!

Liked: Room comfort
Disliked: Cleanliness
Stayed 9 days. Everyone was respectful and courteous. Came in at 2am yet had no problems.
The standards are obviously what you pay for. Nothing too great, shower could have been much better. In general it was comfortable enough.
For the money, the Oasis Hotel was a very satisfactory place to stay. If you know anything at all about Cairo's incredibly heavy traffic, you will appreciate this hotel's proximity to the airport and its fairly quiet neighborhood. There is now even a great French bakery just across the street! I had a few minor problems with the people behind the front desk, but I did get my wake-up calls on time and the people in the restaurant were very friendly and the food not bad at all for the price. The elevator was very small, the hall rugs worn and dirty, but the room though simple was clean and comfortable. While a far cry from the four and five star hotels I stayed in up and down the Nile, this was a great, way to save some money and start and end my trip: getting over jet lag and getting ready to fly home.
