  • Récemment construite en juillet 2019 et prête à être appréciée, la cabine Take a Hike du The Lazy Buffalo dispose d'un lit king-size et d'une douche carrelée avec des rails pour handicapés. Il dispose également d'un espace avec une causeuse confortable et une table de bout. Le bois de grange, le pin noueux et l'étain ondulé sont utilisés dans toute la cabine spacieuse. Les sols en béton teinté foncé et les plafonds en étain ajoutent vraiment une ambiance rustique mais élégante. Profitez du coucher de soleil depuis le long porche couvert tout en vous relaxant dans les rockers en bois. Nous sommes également ravis de notre nouvelle zone de pavillon avec une table de pique-nique et un grill au charbon de bois. Ceci est une cabine accessible aux personnes handicapées.

    La cabine Take a Hike dépeint le paysage captivant qui vous attend dans les montagnes de Wichita. Trouvez des kilomètres et des kilomètres de sentiers prêts à être découverts.

    Le Lazy Buffalo se compose de 4 cabines à thème individuel. La cabine Take a Hike est la 5ème porte à gauche en regardant The Lazy Buffalo et sous le toit bleu.

    EMPLACEMENT
    Nous sommes à seulement 800 mètres de l'original Quanah Parker's Star House et à quelques minutes de Lawton Fort Sill et de l'historique Medicine Park. Explorer les montagnes pittoresques de Wichita est un must. Si vous êtes amateurs de vélo, une piste cyclable pavée jouxte notre propriété et parcourt les montagnes.

    Le Lazy Buffalo a un enregistrement sans tracas. Une entrée à pavé tactile est utilisée pour vous permettre d'aller directement à votre cabine. Avant votre arrivée, nous vous enverrons un plan, un itinéraire et un code de porte à votre cabine. Notre maison est juste en haut de la route et est toujours à portée de main si vous avez besoin de quoi que ce soit. L'enregistrement a lieu après 16 h et le départ avant 11 h

Nice quiet cabin

The cabin was very nice and comfy. My lady and I had a wonderful time spending a night there. I will for sure be renting this cabin again in the future.

Property was unique! Loved the decor! The room was clean and smelled good! Loved that they had a fire pit and firewood. Didn't get a chance to use it. Will definitely stay there again!

The room was nice and clean. Me and various members of my family have stayed here multiple times and the experience has always been great and consistent. There were a couple minor oddities that weren't enough to detract from the rating (the thermostat seems inaccurate and the door having 2 knobs)

Wonderful lodging

This property is very close to the Wichita Mountains NWR which was our interest in the area. Easy access, clean, comfortable, and quiet. Cute decor. Cache is nearby with gas, ice, grocery, and dining. Management was very responsive to questions. Would most definitely recommend to others and would stay again.

The host was very welcoming, making sure our needs were met for the night. We had a short stay (as ranchers it's hard to get away), but got to explore the refuge and Medicine Park, which this location is conveniently located near. The cabin was fun, clean, and very nice. An added bonus was reading all of the materials on the wall and learning so much about the history of the park, how the bison got there, and more. Pretty safe to say that we will be back.

We needed a break...just the two of us. We saw The Lazy Buffalo online and took a chance. It was wonderful. The decor was so cute and quaint. The bed was absolutely amazing. We had the handcap room with a walk in shower, with wonderful rain head. It was just what we needed...a short getaway. We will definitely return and definitely recommend it to others.

The cabin was comfortable and spacious. It was perfect for a quiet weekend getaway. It's located at the entrance to the Wildlife Preserve and is a scenic 20 min. drive from Medicine Park. Well worth the stay!

Such a great experience

My spouse and I rented a cabin for ourselves and our two kiddos, his parents, and my parents. The games outside we wonderful. We cooked out each day and enjoyed breakfast and dinner at the picnic tables. The location was supreme: it’s near the Fort Sill museum, bath lake, Jed Johnson tower and lake trails (amazing history), and the Holy City. These were great for kids (1-5) and elderly. The cabins were super clean, wonderfully decorated, kid friendly, and cozy. We met Julie while checking in - and if you see her, you must say “hello”. She and her daughter are so friendly.

Great place to stay.

If you draw for the Wichita Mountain once in a lifetime elk hunt this is the best place to stay. Literally a few miles down the road from registration and check in. Not to mention it is a clean place and at a very reasonable price. They take awesome care of the place and I can’t stress enough how close you are to the refuge.
