Friendly staff, spectacular views, and the hot tub with a cocktail while the sun went down was the cherry on top!! Highly recommend! Been here both times visiting Northern Ireland and will continue to return!
A perfect place to stay to access Giant's Causeway. Very nice room, very comfortable bed, nice shower. Breakfast was awesome.
I did a walk from Portstewart to the guest house. I think in total it was 16 miles. I was exhausted by the time I got there. Then a panic, dinner? But lo and behold, two restaurants within a 15-20 minute walk. Phew! Loved this place!
We stayed here one night on our road trip in Ireland, and if you’re looking to be close to the Giants Causeway, this is your spot! You can walk or drive down outside of the visitor centre hours and then walk 15 mins to the basalt columns before the crowds. The property is homey, if a bit dated. The bed in our unit was ok, but the pillows could definitely be replaced. The breakfast was lovely, there’s a continental option included and then a made to order hot breakfast for extra cost. We also used the hot tub in the evening….for a £15 pp charge incl a drink. We were there after dark, but sunset would be stunning. The views out all the windows were spectacular, and this was a great stay for our needs, and there was lots of parking.

Great location and views and convenient to the Giant’s Causeway and coast. Bedroom was comfortable - communal areas felt a bit tired and in need of updating.
Close to Bushmills and even closer to Giants Causway. Hot tubs look out west over the sea with a beautiful sunset view. Breakfast was terrific. If I find myself in that area again, I’d definitely go back.
What a treat it was to stay at Carnside Guest House. We had only one night there, but would gladly go back to stay again. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was plentiful and delicious (especially the home-made bread!), and the antique decor is absolutely charming. Danielle is a delightful and accommodating innkeeper, and made great recommendations for us for dining and sightseeing, especially as the Giant’s Causeway is easy walking distance from the guesthouse. Be sure to check out the Fun Farm, and treat yourself to the hot tubs!
Nice place. Great value for money. Room was quite hot but such strong wind couldn't keep window open. Close to Bushmills for dinner. Can get to Giants Causeway early/late to have a peaceful hike before/afterthe masses
The staff were helpful however I didn't feel they were particularly friendly.
The location was lovely with wonderful views of the countryside and a short drive to giants Causeway.
The breakfast was plentiful with a good variety.
Cute house on the hill looking over the coastline. Parking was easy and our room (although small) was comfy and had everything we needed for night. Breakfast was included, but they only put small amounts at a time so you had to compete for good a bit. It was a bit loud, we could hear everyone around us. The biggest issue was the smell. Our room, towels, sheets, all smelled like a barn (which was actually feet from our room). If you're sensitive to smells, this isn't the place for you.
A fabulous place to stay beautiful views and really handy for a visit to The Giants Causeway. Very welcoming and friendly family, with a superb choice for the buffet breakfast that is included and also an option to preorder a great value cooked breakfast as an extra. Comfy beds, good shower, couldn't want for more. Will definitely be back to give the cocktail and hottub with a view experience a go. Well recommended
Nice stay but needs some work. Room and bathroom had mould which you could smell throughout the room.
Toilet seat was loose.
Beds were comfy and had no issues sleeping except for the odd cow mooing and the emergency light above the door illuminating the room. Managed to cover it with a towel. You have to pay extra for the cooked breakfast. Continental breakfast was fine but make sure you’re up for 8am or there will be limited left, especially fruit juice. Guess they might fill up if you ask.
Staff were generally helpful. Do not use the local Gray’s hotel restaurant, shocking service and customer care.
The location of this B&B is perfect for Giants Causeway and surrounding area.
Lovely staff, great location for walking to Giants Causeway, delicious breakfast. One of us liked the bed and the other one didn’t find it as comfortable.
Very handy to visiting Giants Causeway, Bushmills Distillery and other attractions in Bushmills. Very friendly and helpful owner and staff! Great breakfast included.
