The accommodation is all on the ground floor with one double bedroom, 2 porches and backyard patio (upstairs is not in use). As the house is old, the layout is unconventional, the bathroom is off the kitchen and a bit of a walk from the bedroom, so bear this in mind before booking. Although close to the action it is set in a quiet neighborhood, flanked by a beautiful cemetery to the front and a duck pond to the side. Walking distance to a choice of restaurants, bars and the entrance to Glen Park with it's beautiful waterfall is just steps away. Steps to Main street with around 10 restaurants, 3 breweries, 2 ice cream parlors and countless shopping opportunities. The entrance to Glen Park and Amherst State Park are steps away with walking trails for dog walking and a river for fishing opportunities. \*This house is from 1820, the roof lines are not straight and neither are the floors, please bear this in mind before booking. The fridge has condiments which you are welcome to use.
