This super property is full of light, with windows and glass doors in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Comfortable sofas, ceiling beams and an open fire in a granite fireplace create a wonderfully cosy atmosphere. The neat kitchen caters for all your culinary needs, along with a dining table and chairs. Upstairs, there is a family bathroom and a gorgeous king-size bed, while the second floor houses two pretty bedrooms: a twin and a single. Outside, enjoy the vista from an enclosed garden with seating and a BBQ. The cottage has a shared laundry room and can be booked alongside two delightful properties on this site to sleep a total of 13 guests.

Surf, swim and investigate rock pools at low tide on Crackington Haven’s sand and shingle beach. The family-friendly cove has a cafe and is sheltered by rugged cliffs, carpeted with wildflowers each spring. Head to Bude (10 miles) for splendid beaches and surf schools for novices keen to ride the Atlantic waves. Find calmer waters in the sea pool, ideal for children, and hire a canoe or kayak for a tranquil journey along the historic Bude Canal. Explore the dramatic ruins of medieval Tintagel Castle (10 miles) and enjoy walks through the beautiful Valency Valley in picture-postcard Boscastle (7 miles).
