Hawk's Landing was again a perfect base-camp for five of our firefighters that were attending swiftwater rescue technician training at Beavers Bend. They reported that it was a great place to stay. This will be the first place that we try to book for trips of this kind in the future. It is so much better and cost effective than a hotel stay. The only problem was that there was no WIFI or TV. It was reported the first day, but wasn't fixed. Stuff happens, still a five-star stay for our purposes. ##### Mark M. The ONLY thing that I wish was mentioned in the description of the area was you have to go on a dirt road. I know it’s a newly, upcoming area and so happy for this town to have tourist, but I know we weren’t the only ones driving down a dirt road. We’re already talking about going next summer!
