This ground floor condo with beautiful views is directly across the street from the white powder sand beach. Slow down and experience the charm of "Old Florida". Enjoy beautiful sunsets. Walk to nearby unique shops and restaurants, even a fishing pier. The condo is on the South end of Anna Maria Island in Bradenton Beach in sunny and warm Florida. The island has seven miles of sandy, white gulf coast beach and crystal clear water. Three things make the island stand out: unbelievable beach, numerous waterfront restaurants, and a restriction on building height (no high rises). The beach top rated for its soft power white sand, the water is clear and warm. You can still find sea shells, sand dollars, plenty of fish. The wildlife is abundant. You can see dolphins, manatees, and birds year round. Turtle nests are common in the summer. There are many unique waterfront restaurants, even right on the sand. You really feel like you are on an island but over the bridge and you are back to the convenience of the city. This two bedroom/one bath condo is in a 5 unit apartment building on a residential street. The beach décor throughout brings the island feel inside. There are wonderful Gulf views from both the living/dining area and master bedroom. The apartment has plenty of natural light. This well-appointed home sleeps four. There is new queen bed in the master bedroom. The second bedroom has a new queen bed with 43 inch smart TV. Enjoy a 65 inch smart television in the living room while lounging on the cozy sofa with a soft throw. Access wireless high speed internet from anywhere in the apartment. The fully equipped and updated granite kitchen includes a full size refrigerator with icemaker, glass top stove, microwave, dishwasher, large slow cooker, coffee maker, tea kettle and blender. You will find pots, pans, cooking utensils, cutlery and even bakeware. Set the table with classic white dishes, serving platters and flatware. Toast to a beautiful sunset with wine and champagne glasses. Enjoy a day on the beach. We provide beach chairs, beach towels, beach umbrellas, cooler even a beach cart to carry it all. There is a portable beach card/domino table at your disposal. Then come back and rinse off in your own private outdoor shower with hot and cold water. You will appreciate the convenience of a private indoor laundry with a full size washer and dryer. IDEAL LOCATION:The condo is on the desirable south end of Anna Maria Island. The street has Sarasota Bay on one end and the beach on the other. The apartment has a direct beach view and access to the beach is across the street just a few steps away. Take a short walk to historic Bridge Street with its eclectic shops, one of a kind restaurants and bars many with live entertainment. Bridge Street ends in the picturesque fishing pier with a quaint clock tower. You can buy bait and rent fishing rods at the pier or grab a bite at the restaurant. Walk or bike on the paved trail along the beach to the southern tip of island. There you will find beautiful views, a great fishing spot, BBQ and picnic area and Coquina Bay Walk. The condo is to a close trolley stop. Tour the island on the free trolley that offers many stops from one tip of the island to the other. This condo is a corner unit on the ground level. There are no stairs to deal with, a hard feature to find on the island. This small complex offers plenty of green space on a quiet residential street. It's located on a dead end street. The front porch has a gas grill for your private use. The high top patio set provides seating for 4 on the front porch. Sit in the screened in back porch and relax. The island has seven miles of white soft beach, no high rises, no chain stores or restaurants. The beach top rated for its soft power white sand, the water is clear and warm. You can still find sea shells, sand dollars, plenty of fish. The wildlife is abundant. You can see dolphins, manatees, and birds year round. Turtle nests are common in the summer. There are many unique waterfront restaurants, even right on the sand. Rental is clean and comfortable with all the amenities. All of the usual beach items plus more are available for you to use. Additionally having a washer and dryer is a plus. Just an fyi- we were there during the season and the road out front was bumper to bumper traffic for hours especially on the weekend. People were kind and you could cross the road but just not especially relaxing to sit outside in front. Additionally, this is a ground floor unit so depending on who is upstairs it could be loud- you can hear walking, etc. The beach access is right across the street and so beautiful. You can walk up to the Bridge Street restaurants/bars and never use your car. ##### Deb M. This two bedroom property has all the amenities needed for vacation (kitchen, coffee maker, laundry, beach chairs, coolers, grill, TV's, etc). Bathroom has been updated since our last stay which was a nice improvement. Myra has been very gracious to us over the years, and we will be back again! ##### Jodie D. This condo has two bedrooms. It has a well stocked kitchen (meaning utensils, cookware, and small appliances.) We were able to walk to most bars and restaurants we were interested in. Kitchen and linens well equiped. Cons: Water leaks: Damaged stucco caused leaky window and puddled floor. Shower stall drain clogged. Fridge icemaker froze filling fridge drawers with water, overflowed to floor. 3 times waited for repairman losing vacation time. 3 loads of towels from floods. Noise from above apt due to flooring material. Non stop traffic directly in front of unit. No compensation for inconveniences. ##### Terry C. You will love this condo and location. I cooked a lot of meals and the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes... We also grilled lots. There are chairs and an umbrella to bring to the beach. Beach towels were supplied as well. You can walk to Bridge Street to shop, eat, and drink. We had a huge Packer fan with us so the Packer bar at the end of Bridge Street was amazing! Communication was excellent. We would definitely choose this location again. ##### Dawn H. All the amenities you will need to enjoy your stay and a day at the beach! Property was clean and as advertised. Beach was right across the road... say dolphins and manatees on multiple days. It is just across the road from an uncrowded beach perfect for swimming and close to three fishing piers. The area is relaxed and calm, but still walking distance to restaurants and entertainment. Good options to stock up on fishes to prepare your own meals are near with several fish markets. There is a big grocery store on the island and one on Longboat Key which stocks almost all you will need in addition to the fresh seafood (Publix has not the local fresh one as the fish markets offer). We went to a farmers market Dutwiler and stocked up on fresh produce and fruits for a ridiculously low price and everything kept fresh even during the transport to our next rental after our week there. The apartment is well stocked with good tableware and glasses. The washer/dryer was really an advantage in a warm climate. Saves carrying too much luggage while on holidays. While the mattress in bedroom two is wonderful, the one in bedroom one is really fluffy and way too soft, causing back problems. The apartment itself has been really throughoutly clean, but the surrounding outdoor parts have had quite some rubbish laying around - perhaps as a result from the hurricane that passed along a month ago. No big problem, we cleaned the space in front of "our" unit as we stayed there for a whole week. We loved sitting on the front porch, watching people go by and the sun set. We spent a lot of time on the beach and on the fishing pier with the same local fishermen almost every day. Contact with the owner before and during our stay has been perfect with a very short response time. She was able to save all our small problems in no time. We would stay in this unit again if we visit the area again and we can highly recommend it for small groups. ##### Hedy F.
