"Unfortunately, we stayed at the hotel during a labor strike, so there was no housekeeping service. We were compelled to stay there due to its proximity to our relatives' home, but we suffered the inconvenience of waiting at the entrance; protesters only allowed cars to pass every five minutes, forcing us to walk to and from the street. There was no breakfast, though the bed was comfortable and the room spacious; however, a hotel of this caliber lacked basic amenities like slippers and toothbrushes. We would have appreciated a partial refund for the lack of services, but they claimed they had notified us—a message we never saw because it was sent to Expedia rather than directly to our email. Consequently, we felt the money spent was wasted given the absence of services. We had to request cups and coffee pods, and room service had to be ordered from outside the hotel; as for bottled water, it was provided only once, after which they charged $4 per bottle."

"We travelled with 4 adults and a young child and found our room spacious and clean.The hotel is easy to reach off the highway.When we checked in we were told dinner was provided for free on Wednesdays.That meal was simple but very good.The included breakfast was also very good with many choices.We found all staff friendly and courteous.Good location if visiting the spa in Whitby"

"Comfy little cabin with everything we needed for 5 adults. The pebble beach 30 feet or so from the house was perfect! You can hot tub and then cold plunge in the crystal clear lake. Sunrise was so pretty, we saw a mink swimming, 2 big swans and all kinds of birds and little jumping fish galore. Perfect getaway!"

"Staff was very friendly. My kids loved the pool, construction on the 6th floor but work stopped at 6pm and never heard them."

"The location was stunning, right beside the lake, and the fact that the cabin is pet-friendly made it even better for us to enjoy the stay with our little furry guy! These are the main reasons we’re giving it the highest rating. That said, there are several things that could be improved to better justify the rental price."
