Welcome Home to your new mountain hideaway! This pristine home perched on Appalachian Ski Mountain is sure to delight your entire family. The main level has an open kitchen, living room, and dining area with cathedral ceilings and panoramic mountain views through the wall of windows. The kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of space and all the essentials you'll need to prepare tasty meals. The dining area boasts views from all seats. The living room features very comfortable furniture arranged around a gas-log stone fireplace with an HDTV and DVD player. There is also a half bath off the kitchen. A master suite is down the hall, featuring a King bed, private small deck, as well as a private bathroom with double vanities and a water closet & shower. Step out onto the spacious wrap-around deck furnished with a dining table and Adirondacks and enjoy the awe-inspiring mountain views. A gas grill is positioned on the deck. This home also offers a single car sized garage for the guests to use. The lower level contains a second living area with HDTV & a PlayStation 3 console (bring your favorite games), a deck with a wonderful hot tub and great views, a bedroom with a queen bed, a bedroom with 2 twin beds, and a shared full bathroom with a shower is between the bedrooms. Whether you're coming for an ASU football game, outdoor activities, a family vacation, or just to get away from it all, this lovely home is convenient to it all High Country shops, dining and entertainment. Welcome Home indeed! ADDITIONAL NOTES: \- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided \- Check in is after 4pm and check out is by 10am \- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent. \- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates. \- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home. \- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook. \- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable. \- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement. \- This home allows up to 2 mature, small, well-trained dogs with an additional pet rent of $25 per pet per night plus tax. Pets other than dogs are not permitted. \- Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $25 plus tax. \- The home has more than 10 steps to enter the main level. CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee. I’ve never seen this kind of view without having to white knuckle it up a narrow, curving mtn road for 20 mins. The drive up was a dream! Not to mention how close it is to all our favorites… tweetsie, mystery hill, Linville, Moses cone & grandfather…. Etc! The house itself was gorgeous and more than spacious for four of us. We felt like we were at home, very cozy. The house had a great layout, and the stairs were not as bad as we feared. We have a 3 year old, and the stairs were very easy to navigate because of the U shape staircase, wide stairs, and carpeting - that made our lives much less stressful! The view and deck were amazing to sit and enjoy, and the location was so close to Boone & Blowing Rock. ##### Kevin G. Our family of 4 included 2 kids ages 3 & 8\. They loved picking out their bedrooms and playing on the deck after getting a bit of surprise snow! The views can’t be beat and everyone enjoyed the bear decor, though thankfully we only saw deer and no bears. The hot tub worked perfectly, we loved having access to that. Initially I thought the foosball table would be a hit, but the 3 year old was unable to play as it was too tall and the handles were right at eye level. So be aware if you bring littles. I do wish the kitchen had been better stocked. It had everything we needed in terms of dishes, pots, and pans. But we really could have used a few things we forgot… aluminum foil, scotch tape, a few sandwich baggies, cinnamon, rubber bands, a chip clip. The only cleaner we could find for the counters was a very small bit of Windex. I would recommend having an all-purpose cleaner spray on-hand. I’m used to having these types if things in previous rentals. The location was perfect to access everything we needed…downtown Blowing Rock, downtown Boone, the Blowing Rock, Tweetsie, all that. It was pretty close to a Food Lion too. Great rental! ##### Abby W.
