They are at LinvilleLandharbor.Com 2 bedroom 1.5 bath cottage with large covered front porch with fans and seating. Large elevated rear deck with covered swing. Washer/dryer on main level. Small basement. Wooded yard. Side patio with flagstones and firepit. Bedrooms - 1 queen size bed and 1 king size bed. Sofa will make a bed as well. 55 acre lake with Linville River within the resort. Hiking trail along river and around the lake. Trout fishing. 18 hole golf course. Heated pool in season. Exercise room; dog park; tennis and pickleball. Billiards. Dances and game nights at clubhouse. Elevation at 3800\. Cool temperatures in the summer. Near the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Appalachian Trail and Grandfather Mountain. A perfect location, spotless, quaint and everything we needed to cook. We were minutes away from Sugar Mountain (went snowtubing!) the caverns, and Linville falls where we went hiking. Fishing was poor, not stocked in some time. There was a fee to use the dog park. A permit was needed (and unavailable)to leave a boat by the lake. The stream was more than a mile from the house, as were all facilities. It is cozy and has a bathroom with tub as well as another toilet off a bedroom, which to me was a bonus. Lots of space outside on three sides of the house to relax and enjoy the outdoors too. We made use of the front porch swing in the mornings when it was cool out. Nice that the kitchen does have essentials and I didn't have to run to the store for those. Had some nice outside areas, covered front porch, side patio and rear deck, but took some work to get them cleaned up because of all the surrounding vegetation debris. The vegetation is nice because it gives you a little more feeling of privacy even though the houses are very close together but it does make a mess. The area is very nice. there is a nice pool, a beautiful lake with a beach area. Limited selection of restaurants close by if you like to eat out . All in all, it was a nice weekend. ##### Gary S. We wanted peace and quiet rather than hustle and bustle and that’s what we found. Very quiet, very little traffic. We enjoyed walks around the lake and trails by the creek. We made a trip to Grandfather Mountain. The weather was perfect. Unfortunately our trip was to short to do all that the community has to offer. We did walk down to the pool and recreational areas.
