Nice area, quiet, relaxing, clean, comfortable and well equipped kitchen. Check in/entrance was very easy. Communication with owner was great. Would return to this vrbo without question!! Loved our stay.
50-60 year old ladies traveling together. Plenty of room for gathering, comfortable beds, quiet, local area but very close to all the sights. Recommend having a car. Lovely stay! Appreciated the homemade jam the owners left!!
A perfect location for enjoying Lake Bled, Julian Alps, Lake Bohinj and Vintgar Gorge. The rooms were comfortable, kitchen had everything thing for preparing after hike dinners. And the host was timely in answering questions.
Lovely place to stay with friends and explore a beautiful part of the world.
Absolutely fabulous place to stay. Very easy access to the lakes and quick drive to Triglav or Ljubljana as well as everywhere else in between. House is very comfortable and superbly equipped, we enjoyed being in it just as much as the countryside around. Hosts are very quick and efficient to respond. We will not hesitate to stay again.
This was a great location to get you up and out of the busyness of Bled. Communication with the owners was excellent. Just to make the description clear, two bedrooms and a full bath is upstairs with many slanting ceilings while the other bedroom is in the lower level of the house (it has its own entrance). The two staircases are functional but a bit tricky. Think about a staircase and a ladder having a baby. That’s what you will be dealing with. It actually is quite ingenious but you need to take them slowly. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well supplied. The living area is very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay here and we are getting up there in years (70 & 71)
We loved our stay at House Bella and we hope to have the chance to stay there again. The house is modern and comfortable, with a large shower (my husband is 6’3” and has trouble fitting into a lot of showers in Europe) and large water heater. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking your own meals. The property is in a quiet town, 1.5 miles to Lake Bella and 25 minutes to the hiking trails in Triglav National Park. There are also some hiking trails up the hill from the house. Be sure to stop by the restaurant next to the grocery store in the town center — They have smoked trout pulled from the river that runs through town and good pizza.
We were looking for a place to relax and rest during our Europe trip. This house couldn’t be better for this. The location is fantastic and that it is in a little village that is very quiet but yet near blood and blood lake. I think Blair is a hidden gem that not that many people know of, and it is certainly worth visiting. The countryside is beautiful and all the sites at them around the lake are fantastic. We took a side trip to split in Dubrovnik and they were also very worthwhile. And there was a little bed-and-breakfast on the far side of the town called Batiste, and we had some of the best food that we’ve ever had in Europe . It was incredibly clean and quaint and would highly recommend it especially if you’re staying at the Bella house.
This interior of this place is a delight! The one consideration is the steps between the three floors is more like a step ladder than a staircase. One must be comfortable navigating such climbs and descents. Otherwise, the kitchen, living room and bedrooms are tidy, well appointed and tastefully decorated. The mountain views surrounding the property are breathtaking and a trail up to a view spot for “Iglica” (the surrounding mountains) which included mounting a strong metal ladder situated between a crevice in the mountain led to the most incredible views we felt so fortunate to discover.
For the right folks, this place is a rare discovery.
We enjoyed our stay at House Bella immensely and wish we could have stayed longer. The house is well-equipped and is located in a quiet village about a 10 minute drive from Lake Bled. The stairs are steep but manageable for those with children past toddler age. Our next visit to this beautiful part of Slovenia will be scheduled around availability at House Bella. We would not stay anywhere else! Thank you Barbara and Thomas for a very memorable stay!

Sehr schön renoviertes Haus mit allem, was man braucht.
