There were good views of the lake from the room balcony too. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were nice. The bed was very firm. Staff was very courteous, pool and hot tub were large and the space around it big (with sauna too); better than most hotels. Nice terrace though it's by the road. Cons: the first room we had did have a view of the lake but over an ugly concrete shopping centre and the room was cramped. We moved to a bigger room but the bed was very hard and the shower was over the bath with no screen or curtain. There was a drainage smell from the Jacuzzi bath. The rooms definitely need refurbishing to bring it up to deserve a 4\* rating. We went into the pub but it was cold and uncomfortable with the TV blaring showing tennis. We went into the grill which wasn't as nice as the restaurant and the service wasn't great.
