Excellent hotel in a residential safe neighborhood. Very clean and spacious room and bathroom. Host is amazing and guided us for local information. Breakfast was great with fresh fruits included. Tram station next to it was convenient.

The gentleman who checked us in did a superb job giving us all the information that we would need, much appreciated! Bern hotel stays include a voucher for the tram, and the number 9 tram runs nearby and often and it is a great way to get to and from the old town. We chose this hotel for the parking availability which worked well as we arrived early in the afternoon. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was satisfying. Beautifully colored shells of the hard boiled eggs! We were very grateful that the gentleman at the front desk recommended that we walk down the Aargauerstalden, an easy walk from the hotel, to see the gorgeous town from the other side of the river. One of the most beautiful sights I have ever seen!

We loved our stay. Staff was extremely helpful and gave great advice on what to see. The hotel gave us free tram passes making it helpful getting around town. They also lent us dry bags for swimming in the river. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel in not in the older historic area, but there were local restaurants and the tram was easy to catch and a 5 minute ride into the center of the city. We would definitely stay again.

Awesome staff and nice breakfast! Quite nice room. A bit from town, but walkable or a simple tram ride. Quick notes: receptionist was awesome. Told me about river swimming and they have free dry bags for use! Also not well-documented, you get free tram use while staying! Super convinient. Highly recommend if you dont mind being a few blocks from the epicenter. Free parking was a big plus too.

Perfect access to sporting halls.

Perfect location for sporting events in Bern. Clean, friendly and excellent breakfast. Will stay here again next time we have a tournament in Bern. Good restaurants within walking distance.

The welcome was lovely, the gentleman on reception was friendly and even took time to tell us where we should visit in the city, and a walking route that offers the most amazing views. The room was lovely and had everything we could want for our one night stay. The balcony off the room was lovely and a great place to sit to enjoy a cup of coffee.

We received an excellent recommendation from the desk manager for a walking route to the town center via the Rosengarten and then a return via tram. The hotel was a bit dated and there was no air conditioning but we still enjoyed our stay since the location was convenient.

We were met by Andreas who is a wonderful and energetic person. We stayed there for one night in July; free easy parking; 10 minute walk to the rose garden and another 5 minutes to the old town. Two great restaurants nearby (make reservations); The rooms dont have AC but with the fan and windows open it was very comfy; delicious breakfast too. thank you

Nice stay

A quaint hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The room was small but sufficient. No AC with the summer heat resulted in a warm room. It would cool off at night by opening the windows, but without screens there were lots of bugs. I woke up to two bees in the bathroom and many bug bites. Otherwise it was a pleasant stay.

Overall good

The hotel is nice. They have free breakfast which was very good. Only issue was no Air Condition. First couple of days it was very hot, about 90 degrees. They don't have any A/C. We wish they would have A/C. They also don't have any refrigerator.
