THIS COZY 2-BEDROOM 1 BATHROOM(shower only)COTTAGE WITH A FULL KITCHEN AND SMALL LIVING ROOM FEATURES A LAKEVIEW AND THE SOUND OF WAVES TO LULL YOU TO SLEEP AT NIGHT. tHE DECK HAS SIX TABLES WITH UMBRELLAS WHERE YOU CAN WATCH A SPECTACULAR SUNSET WITH OTHER COTTAGE GUESTS. A GREAT PLACE TO MEET NEW FRIENDS SHARE A DRINK AND TALK ABOUT YOUR DAY AND LEARN ABOUT SOME NEW PLACES TO EXPLORE. WITH A FIRE PIT ON THE BEACH YOU CAN ROAST SOME MARSHMELLOWS OR JUST GAZE AT THE STARS.
IT'S SO EASY JUST WALK OUT THE DOOR AND YOUR ON THE DECK,TAKE THREE STEPS DOWN AND YOU ARE ON SAND. WITH A SHORT WALK TO THE WATER YOU WILL FIND A BEAUTIFUL SANDY BEACH WITH SHALLOW WATER LEVELS FOR THE KIDS TO PLAY. IF YOU PREFER YOU CAN GO OUT TO THE DEEPER WATER AND THROW A BALL AROUND OR JUST ENJOY THE CLEAR COOL WATER. THE BEACH IS PERFECT FOR PLAYING,TANNING,COOLING OFF OR JUST TAKING LONG WALKS.
AFTER A DAY ON THE BEACH THERE IS A CHARCOAL GRILL TO BARBAQUE ON OR JUST TAKE A SHORT WALK OR RIDE TO TOWN AND VISIT ONE OF MANY RESTAURANTS. THERE IS PLENTY TO DO IN THE AREA WITH MANY GOLF COURSES NEAR BY,BIKE TRAILS,WINE TASTING,FRUIT PICKING,SAND DUNES AND INTERESTING TOWNS TO VISIT.
THE COTTAGE CAN HANDLE A FAMILY OF 5. ONE BEDROOM HAS A QUEEN BED AND THE OTHER HAS A BUNK BED WITH A FULL ON THE BOTTOM AND A TWIN ON TOP. THERE IS A COUCH WITH A PULL OUT BED AS WELL. PARKING IS AVAILABLE ON THE STREET OR THERE IS A PAY FOR PARKING LOT NEXT DOOR. THERE IS A DRIVEWAY FOR ALL OF THE COTTAGES TO USE FOR LOADING AND UNLOADING YOUR THINGS.
IF YOU LIKE BEING ON THE WATER WE WOULD LIKE TO HAVE YOU AS OUR GUEST.

We have been staying in these cottages for about 35 years. We love it here…access to the beach, walk to the bakery or restaurants downtown.Easy checkin process. Easy and quick communication with the owners. This is a great place to stay!

Beautiful location and family friendly. We did have a negative experience with check in. We couldn’t get in and finally after talking with host, the realization was that it was never cleaned. So we had to wait for the cleaning person and for the cleaning to occur before we could move in. Thankfully we had the beach right there to occupy our 2 year old. It also wasn’t very well cleaned. But the host did give us some compensation and we ended up enjoying our time there.

Right on the beach!

Very nice cottage right on the beach. Great location. Can walk to town. Cottage was perfect for two but would be tight for 5-6. Mattress may be ready to be replaced. Owners were great answering questions.

Girls Trip

Great cottage for a weekend girls trip! The view was beautiful and the beach was literally 3 steps off the deck. The cottage could use a little updating but it was the perfect size for 3 of us.

A dream stay

This is truly a place of dreams. The location is beyond perfect. We walked downtown for coffee every morning. Walked right off the deck everyday to the private beach. The nights could not be better to watch the sunset and sit around the fire pit with the other guests. We hope to spend many more years to come here. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay.

This is a lovely cottage. Perfect location and steps away from the sand. Check-in was a bit late. Not bad. About 20 mins. I would suggest a more thorough cleaning. Under the queen bed was dust, dirt, paper/wrappers and sand. Same under the couch. Sand under the couch cushions. The pan cupboard was a mess. Everything just thrown in there. The shower needs a good scrub. Grout was dirty and you could see the soap scum. The ceiling fans make noise and could be replaced as well. Toilet runs and moves. Needs to be reset before plumbing issues start to occur. I normally would not post these things, but how will the owners know if we don’t. Other than that, I had a perfect vacation! Thank you.

Perfect off season getaway

Gorgeous beachfront to enjoy. Pics of the interior are accurate. It’s easy and relaxed. Not like a super “fancy” inside, but perfect for lying on the couch and watching the lake or sunset. And walking right out the door straight to the beach every morning. Booked off season for better rates and less crowded beach and luckily the weather cooperated. Also took a day trip to the Holland tulip festival which was delightful. I can see why families return here year after year! (*note there was some digging happening with big diggers in the area leading down to the beach on Monday morning. Quiet otherwise. I had a sense it was to move more sand into that walk down to the beach before the summer season started, so probably not an issue for on season guests).

Lake Michigan in your backyard

The property is right on Lake Michigan and has stunning views out every window. Came equipped with everything we needed and was very comfy. Will definitely stay there again!

Beach heaven

Thankyou for sharing this amazing place. My husband & I were celebrating our anniversary. Were surprised it was Right on the water! Very relaxing. Only issues were both nights a loud bang was heard, could have been thunder related? Kinda scary. Loved the journals.

great long weekend getaway

Wonderful long weekend for my daughter and I. Cottage was exactly how it was listed. Clean, cozy and right on the beach. Great location and so close to town. We had a wonderful time. Would love to come back again
