Brand new bedroom/bathroom suite attached to a house within 7 minutes walk from Downtown Bend, Oregon. The guest quarter has separate entrance from outside under the carport. It also has a door into the house, but the door is locked for privacy. The room has fun National Geographic theme with high end bathroom that has marble shower and countertop. Good size closet is also in the room. The room has 43" ultra high definition TV with cable and a soundbar to stream music from TV or any other Bluetooth devices. Queen bed is ideal for individual or couple who like to stay close to the heart of downtown Bend and famous Mirror Pond that the Deschutes Brewery named one of their beers after. Kitchen is not available, but the room has small beverage cooler. The room has in-wall cadet heater. Air condition unit is not yet available, but the room has ceiling fan above the bed to help cool down during hot summer nights. Outside, under the carport, has corn-hole game and dart boards for guest to enjoy. Outdoor wood fire pit is also under construction. Nicer than a hotel and honey, with every little extra thing you could want or need The check in was quick and easy and safe; the location couldn't of been better; within walking and biking distance of anywhere we wanted to go that wasn't out in the mountains; The room and bathroom are so beautifully done, as were the outdoor spaces, and there were bikes for the summer and snow shoes for the winter that we could use. Sam even included helmets and bike locks( we brought some almond just in case!) And his dahlias were in bloom and gorgeous! He cut some and placed in our room. Lovely and thoughtful! And we sat in the cool old ski lift chairs made into porch swings. There was shampoo, conditioner, even make up remover wipes! phone chargers for both android and iPhones, comfortable bed and a mini fridge. Thought of all the little things to make the stay better. It is attached to his home, so there are some sounds of living, but wasn't a big deal and didn't interfere with our stay. Just an FYI for some, which I think he is forthcoming about and offers to be reached if it becomes a problem. Would def come back to Sams spot! ##### Allison E. Sam was attentive from the very beginning all the while allowing complete privacy. The unit itself was very clean, well done and quiet. The bathroom is very well appointed. You are just a couple of blocks from Drake park and all of the shops and restaurants in Old Town Bend. Don't miss the Looney Bean coffee shop just a 5 minute walk. Even though we only stayed 1 night, we were very impressed with the guest quarter and all it had to offer. The room was like an updated modern hotel with the bonus of darts, corn hole, and outdoor hangout area. Also, the location to downtown was great.
