The Hummingbird Cottage is a lovely getaway in one of Bend's most popular Westside neighborhoods. Walk to local breweries, restaurants and shops from this charming one-bedroom Craftsman-style bungalow. Constructed in 2016, Hummingbird Cottage has beautiful oak floors and an opening living area with elegant built-in shelving and tiled gas fireplace with a cozy bench seat. The fully equipped kitchen has a breakfast nook, bar seating, large farmhouse sink and stainless appliances. The Master Bedroom features a beautiful mission style king-sized bed, with ultra-comfy European style bedding, fresh, clean duvet covers and high thread count linens, a large walk-in closet, and window seat. The en suite bathroom has heated tile floors, a large, walk-in tiled shower, and new full-sized LG washer and dryer. On-demand hot water, WiFi, BluRay player, cable and streaming capable TV. Need more space for a bigger crew? The Hummingbird Cottage has one bedroom and sleeps 2\. The Kokanee Cottage is the house next door and offers two bedrooms, sleeps 4\. I usually find a place that is dog friendly but we decided not to bring her this time. During a search I found this cottage. What an outstanding house. The first impression was how clean it was. The kitchen is well stocked with everything that we needed. It has a nice sized kitchen for its size. I liked how there was a stacked washer ,dryer in the bathroom. There is a wall/ceiling AC that is controlled by a thermostat , it really cools the house down, what I really enjoyed was there is a ceiling fan in the bedroom which makes a huge difference keeping the house cool. The neighborhood is extremely quiet at night. Good Life Brewery is a stones throw from the house. It's approx one mile walking distance to the downtown area. We walk pretty much the whole time venturing up to our favorite brewery Crux, so this is a perfect starting point. Overall I would differently recommend this house for a couple, maybe with a small child. There is no backyard which didn't matter to us. Oh, there is parking on the driveway which is nice , I had no problem parking my truck there, Also there is a garage but it is only used for storage, so if you have bikes or kayaks this would work perfect and its controlled by a garage door opener . The only ding that I have, which is small one, is I wish it had a small hotel safe, although I felt the area was very safe it would have been nice to put iPads, keys etc in there when we left for the day. ##### Andy R. Very cute property recently renovated. Clean, comfortable and perfect for a couple. Everything you need for a wonderful stay. King bed is comfortable and the gas fireplace warmed up the living area. New appliances, well appointed, and good kitchen supplies to cook meals. The only thing missing was ESPN on the TV. Bring your ID and password for accessing streaming services.
