Bluebird Day - Drake Escape

Welcome to the Drake Escape!

Located in one of Bend's most desirable neighborhoods. This Westside luxury home is just steps from Drake Park and Downtown Bend. Stroll along the Deschutes River into Drake Park or walk across the Newport Street bridge into Downtown to check out all the local shops and restaurants.

This 4 bedroom, 3 ½ bath home can sleep up to 8 guests and features upscale furnishings, a fully equipped gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances, sit down dining for 6, a breakfast bar, and a gas fireplace in the living room. Two car garage provides off street parking and storage for all your gear. The key to a relaxing vacation is a good night's sleep! The master bedroom upstairs features a king bed, a 65-inch smart TV, and a full private bath with a claw foot tub. The second bedroom downstairs has a king bed and is connected to the third bedroom downstairs with a queen bed by a Jack-and-Jill bathroom. The fourth bedroom downstairs is furnished with a full bed and its
own bathroom.

Looking for some outdoor adventure? Mt Bachelor Ski Resort and the Cascade Lakes are just a short drive away and are the perfect places to explore in any season. Biking trails in warmer seasons and skiing or snowboarding option in winter.

Lovely home, amazing location

We very much enjoyed our stay at Drake Escape. It is a 5 minute walk to town, the house has a nice amount of space, and everything is spotlessly clean. We hope to stay there again soon!

Very comfortable. Fit us 4 co-workers very well with ample bedrooms and large kitchen. When I first arrived, the smoke alarm was chirping. Management had someone out within minutes to replace the battery.

Amazing Stay in Bend!

Location alone is a reason to stay here. The house is in a beautiful neighborhood just off the river and walking distance to downtown. I would recommend this stay to anyone who wants to do it all in Bend from shopping, eating/drinking to exploring the outdoors.

Fantastic location!

Loved our stay at the drake escape! We took a family trip for a week and the location is fantastic! Basically downtown, but in a quiet neighborhood. We walked easily to all the downtown restaurants and took in all the sites. Sadly, there wasn't much snow, but also made it easier to drive/walk around :) will definitely be looking for this rental in the future!

Whiskey Fest Weekend

Wonderful weekend stay. House was beautiful, clean, and well equipped. Easy walk into town. Delightful neighbor with his cat Truman. Loved hanging out on the back patio at night around the gas fire pit. Loves the popcorn maker, and a six pack of beer waiting in the fridge.

The house is perfect for a large family. We enjoyed this home. We had one issue with the travel crib not available. The property manager was quick to correct and respond to the issue. The home worked out really well for us.

Perfect Location!

House has great floor plan that worked wonderful for our two families. Owners had many items stocked which was very convenient for our week long stay. Cozy warm rustic theme home was exactly what we were seeking for our stay in Bend. All of enjoyed the 5 min walk to downtown for shopping, breweries, restaurants and ice cream! Walks along the river and into the quiet neighborhood were beautiful and serene. Only 25 minutes drive to Sun River resort, where we enjoyed lunch and a spa day, and 25 min to Mt Bachelor. We would definitely stay here again and already have recommended to other friends and family.

Wonderful stay!

Probably the best rental house we have ever stayed in! The house is beautiful! Anything we might need during our trip was available (and more!) Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, laundry detergent was all available. Kitchen was well appointed. Clear instructions on how to work tv's etc and binder with recommendations on restaurants and activities were appreciated. Our family (all adults) enjoyed walking to shop, eat and farmers market (oh, and the breweries too!) We all enjoyed running on the trail near the river. We will most definitely be back to stay at this great house!!

Drake Escape

The home is lovely and comfortable. We needed more chairs for our elderly group of 7 to sit at dining table. We expected napkins - found one. We would have liked some coffee as well. And a lack of chairs and mirrors in the bedrooms was inconvenient. We brought DVDs to share and found no player in living room. Played games and talked a lot in comfort. Had a great stay overall. Thank you for sharing this beautiful home.
