This apartment has just been restored to the highest level with stylish furnishings, attention to details and home comforts. It has two bedrooms (one with double bed, one with a single bed); modern kitchen perfectly equipped (gas four rings, oven, microwave, dish washer, kettle, toaster, coffee pot, washing machine + clothes dryer, pots and pans, kitchen linens are included ); living room with tv and dvd; bathroom with shower and hairdryer; bed sheets and bath towels included. In the apartment you’ll find brochures and information material about Bellagio and the lake area. Boats time table and suggestions for cruises and excursions: all the necessary to get the best from you holiday!

Idéal!

Un accueil très agréable, un emplacement idéal, un peu à l’écart du centre de Bellagio, magnifique village mais très touristique, à dix pas de l’embarcadère sur le lac, permettant de prendre les bateaux-navettes pour le centre, ou vers les autres villages du rivage, et non loin d’un petit restaurant de poissons ultra frais, péchés par le patron. L’appartement lui-même est joli, très confortable, et très bien équipé. Un seul bémol: la connexion internet est très aléatoire, aussi bien en wifi qu’en 4G. Il vaut mieux sortir dans la rue pour réussir à se connecter. Mais cet inconvénient ne pèse pas lourd au regard du charme de l’endroit…

Het verblijf ziet eruit als de foto’s, helemaal top! Dicht bij het Comomeer, 20 minuten lopen naar Bellagio, rustig gelegen, leuk lokaal visrestaurant en bar/lunchroom op korte afstand waar je prima tot rust kunt komen. Ontvangst en uitleg van de eigenaresse en ze had goede en leuke tips.

Fantastic Apartment

We had a wonderful time in San Giovani. Absolutely one of the most beautiful areas I've ever been to. The apartment was wonderful. Great wood floors throughout. Very clean. Spacious. Comfortable beds and furniture. Paulo, the lady who manages it is extremely nice and helpful. The apartment is within a couple hundred feet of a fantastic little cafe called NeNe. 300 ft from the lake and wonderful views. The apartment is about 2km from Bilagio, which is why I gave the location 4 stars instead of 5. It was a nice walk, but after a long day it seemed longer for my wife. If I was booking it again, we would love to stay there, but I would not book it for elderly people, such as my mother because of the long walk to town. The only other challenge for me was the WIFI, which was good, but unreliable for my business. Overall, it was fantastic. Absolutely beautiful area. Belagio is beautiful. Take a ferry to Verenna and Menaggio to explore those towns and get a view from the lake. Wasn't too impressed with the town Lenno. The simplest way for us to get there from Milan was taxi - yes it was almost 200 euro, but it was simple. Paulo helped us organize the taxi both ways.

a gem close to Bellagio

This apartment was superb for visiting the Bellagio region. Quiet, clean, well-appointed and comfortable. The host was most gracious and provided lots of useful suggestions that enhanced our stay. The local cafe and restaurant are highly recommended. I suggest visitors bring groceries with them because there are no suppliers in the immediate vicinity, although excellent grocery stores are available in Bellagio town proper 10 min drive (or 30 min walk) away.

This was a great spot away from all the busy tourist areas. There is a close ferry you can take or a bus. The property was exactly as described and a wonderful time to stay.

Perfect to explore and feel like you're part of the locals

The apartment has a great distance from Bellagio, walking over throught the botanical garden takes as little as 20 minutes. It's just close enough to be part of the bustle and restaurants, but far enough to have complete peace and quite with a nice view to the lake. The apartment is in good condition as well and has everything one needs. San Giovanni also got an amazing little café for your breakfast and aperitivo needs and a nice restaurant for fish fro. the lake. Full recommendation.

Perfect!

The apartment surpassed all of our needs and expectations. The host was amazing and easy to contact. We had to reschedule our trip due to unforeseen circumstances and she was extremely gracious and helpful in allowing us to reschedule. The location was perfect, near enough to major sites and transportation access, while being far enough away for peace and quiet. We hope to come back some day soon!

Sehr schöne Woche am Comer See

Alles war ordentlich und sauber. Wir hatten sogar Seeblick. Man sollte aber wissen, dass es keinen Backofen und Dunstabzug gibt , und das Internet ging nur zeitweise. Schön ist auch die kleine Bar ganz in der Nähe. Zusammengefasst hat es uns sehr gut gefallen und der Ort ist ein guter und ruhiger Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge am Comer See. Wir waren im Frühjahr da

Ein Vorort von Bellagio gut gelegen, Schiff und Bus sind gut zu Fuss erreichbar

Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, Geschirr hat es genügend. Die Gastgeberin war immer erreichbar und die Schlüsselübergabe durch ihren Sohn verlief reibungslos. Das einzige was schade war, dass es keinen Balkon hatte. Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen.

Sehr schöne Wohnung ruhige Umgebung.

Die Gastgeberin Lucia ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Sie war für uns jederzeit über WhatsApp oder SMS erreichbar und gab uns Tipps für den Aufenthalt am Comer See. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und gut ausgerüstet, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Leute im Haus sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es gibt die Möglichkeit einen privaten Garagenplatz zu reservieren (empfehlen wir sehr). Die Wohnung liegt ein paar Minuten von der Schiffhaltestelle San Giovanni entfernt. Zu Fuss hat man circa 15 Minuten nach Bellagio. Der nächste Einkaufsladen ist mit dem Auto in ein paar Minuten zu erreichen (hat am Montag geschlossen). Der öffentlichen Steinstrand ist in ca. 5 Gehminuten erreichbar.

Schöner Aufenthalt am Comer See

Die Ferienwohnung befindet sich in einem alten, historischen Haus. Sie wurde erst vor kurzem modernisiert. Die Betten sind bequem und die Küchenausstattung gut. Perfekt wäre es gewesen, wenn auch ein paar Gewürze (zB Salz) oder Essig/ Öl vorhanden gewesen wären. Das WLAN funktionierte mal mehr mal weniger. Öffentliche Parkplätze stehen in der Nähe genügend zur Verfügung. Zur Bootsanlegerstelle in San Giovanni war es nicht weit. Wir würden wiederkommen.

Sweet apartment for visiting Lake Como

The apartment is located in San Giovanni, a short walk from Bellagio and an even shorter ferry ride. The walk is made more pleasant by passing through the beautiful gardens of the Villa Melzi, but you have to pay for the privilege. The ferry costs 1,30 euros. The apartment is beautifully furnished, and has everything you need for cooking a dinner at home if you don’t want to go out. There is a restaurant (Mella) just a few steps away and a small coffee shop and purveyor of sandwiches, salads and pastries (Ne-Ne) just around the corner. A little further is another restaurant (Silvio) and another (Darsene). The apartment was our home base for visiting Bellagio, Varenna, Lenno, Tremezzo, and Como. We were greeted by Emanuele who was very helpful. Check-in and check-out were easy. The only downside was the wifi is not very strong or very reliable.

Comfortable apartment OUTSIDE the centre, in San Giovanni

Apartment is small but clean and completely functional. Location (San Giovanni) though listed as Bellagio is very cut off from Bellagio centre. To walk to centre one has to pass through very narrow two-way busy main road without a pavement - completely unsafe and unpleasant even if only 15 min walk. But its big advantage is that it is located one minute from lake ferry boat so if you choose this as your main means of transport there is no problem other than that the last boat to take you back to flat is at around 6pm. One fantastic fish restaurant (Mella) and one little bar serving drinks and snacks (Ne ne') are the only entertainment in San Giovanni but apart from that it is a quiet, quaint and sweet residential location with narrow cobbled streets and very little traffic. We fell in love with San Giovanni!
