Yeworthy Eco-Treehouse

  • The Yeworthy Treehouse is a stunning eco-friendly, off-grid retreat set amongst the tree-tops and above a private lake. The cosy treehouse comes with a log-burner to keep you cosy and enjoys breathtaking views from the balcony. The surroundings are completely secluded and perfectly private - you will only have the birds and wild deer who roam the forest as neighbours. Guests can also enjoy the use of the summer-house, perfect for BBQs in the summer months, and the rowing boat on the lake.



    The tree-house is eco-friendly and totally off-grid so is perfect for those looking for a peaceful and undisturbed stay. The treehouse has a double bed with plenty of comfy cushions and pillows while the log-burning stove means you can stay warm and cosy, even on the colder nights. Logs can be purchased from the owners upon arrival for £5. A kettle can be boiled and basic cooking can be done on a 2 ring gas-fired camp stove, complete with kitchen utensils, pots and pans to rustle up a meal.



    Fresh water is provided for guests from a bowser. The private, eco-friendly, sawdust toilet is in a separate structure nestled amongst the trees.



    Please note there is no shower facility and guests will have to bring their own towels.



    The surrounding area is rich in wildlife, with regular sightings of deer, badgers, beavers, kingfishers, herons and bats. In springtime, Canadian geese also return to the lake to raise their young, making it a particularly special time to visit.



    Guests will be met by the owners who will transport you down to the treehouse in a jeep. Guests will have access to the jeep for the duration of their stay.



    The Yeworthy Treehouse is a perfect getaway for those who want to get back to nature, sleep amongst the stars and enjoy the peace and tranquility that the setting provides.



    Please note: From 1st October to 1st April each year, the boat will be out of commission and unavailable for guest use. This will be an ongoing seasonal closure each year. This property is for adult guests only. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate anyone under the age of 21.

Had a lovely stay and will definitely be returning. The owner was great and extremely helpful and even took us to look around. An ideal location for couples looking for a lovely peaceful getaway. We only stayed the one night and would have liked to stay longer, so next time we will book a few extra nights and explore the area more also.

Absolutely stunning retreat

Absolutely stunning retreat had so much fun, our dog loved it and the balcony overlooking the lake, I will never get tired of that view. The quite sound of water is all you can hear, it was a place you dream off. Will definitely be going back.

Relaxing & peaceful location

We had a lovely night away at this peaceful treehouse & didn’t want to come back. We fully immersed ourselves in nature, enjoyed the peace & quiet of the secluded surroundings listening to all the wildlife. The treehouse is so cosy and the views from it were beautiful. The lake was also a beautiful setting to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening watching the sunset. We even enjoyed the use of the composted toilet & pretended we were on celebrity get me out of here. We highly recommend this stunning peaceful location if you are looking to get away from it all & be totally off grid. We definitely want to come back again. Thank you Natasha & Grahame Possibly an outside shower but that didn’t bother us as we took our own!

Peaceful place to stay for one night

Peaceful place to stay for one night - that is completely off grid that is private and lovely setting. Due to it being in an isolated place we came prepared with wellies, portable phone chargers. our own ‘picnic tea’ food, drinks and fire wood :)
