The kitchen is very well stocked and the bedrooms and living spaces are comfortable. The house is oriented toward the river, which is more of a creek in the fall. Lovely spot, but just off of Hwy. 101 so when you are outside, or the windows are open, or in the hwy side bedroom, you can hear traffic noise which is unfortunate. Getting down to the river is doable, but a bit tricky. That said, it's a great location for day trips around the area. We come up via Quinault, went to the ocean beaches one day, to Sol Duc Falls and the hotsprings the next, and then home via Port Angeles with a stop at the Salt Creek Recreation Area where we walked the beautiful Bluff Trail.
