It was nicely decorated, a very comfortable bed, with an updated kitchen, laundry, and bathroom. The only thing missing was a skillet for cooking on the stove. The host was very kind to leave a bottle of wine and card for our anniversary. The back yard with very peaceful and shaded water views was exceptional.I received a long list of rules as my first contact with the host which was fine since they were all common sense and I had also been a property manager for many years. The evening quiet rule was especially important to us since we were looking for a peaceful place to enjoy our anniversary week. Unfortunately, the person occupying the room above us did not adhere to that rule on any level. They pounded across the floor and dropped things suddenly at all hours of the day and night. It greatly affected our trip and startled us multiple times a day. We did not contact the host because we figured an owner had to be living there and no action would be possible. We tried to stay in the beautiful back yard near the water and we used the provided Hunting Island pass to go out to the ocean for our peace. I believe some sort of ceiling sound proofing would greatly change this situation for the better. Otherwise, we would have really enjoyed such a nice property and all the work that was clearly done to make it appealing and relaxing. ##### Cindy D.
