Kick back and relax with your friends and family on this amazing 8-acres of private property. This wonderful cabin will have you feeling right at home. Treat yourself, and your party of up to 10, to true luxury that not many people in Red River Gorge get to experience. Find yourself relaxing on the porch, taking in all that nature has to offer. \- Soulshine is pet friendly however pet fee of $100 does not show in total balance. We have a $100 pet fee that covers up to 2 dogs. Mid 90s and humid every day but the cabin AC was up to the challenge. No big tv in the main room so kids and parents were forced to talk to each other and play games. The kids loved the hot tub (even in 90 degree weather). There was a small issue with the basement shower drain. Called Stay-Over and they had it fixed before we returned from hiking in the afternoon. The house was secluded, yet near enough to our hiking plans and the backyard was a relaxing area with fire pit, hammock and hot tub. Easy peasy check in and no need for 4-wheel drive to get to the house. All paved road on the way in so our minivan didn't suffer any big climbs or a gravel road. We made almost all of our meals at the house and had everything we needed to fix all our meals. It's always nice to have enough dishes and towels at a rental so you aren't constantly washing bowls & spoons. Having a washer/dryer is always a plus for us so we can return home with clean clothes. The cabin is nice and very roomy. Offers a lot of sleeping options for guests. It is very secluded which we appreciated and the outdoor amenities (fire pit, hammocks, porch) were great. The only downside for us was that the outdoor lights were not working. It made it difficult to see outside at night. We discovered that the electrical outlets along one entire side of the cabin didn’t work (this is also where the outdoor lights plug in). Enough beds for our entire party and tvs in every room. For anyone who travels with a lot of clothes- there wasn’t really anywhere to store clothes if you unpack. A spot to hang a few shirts or dresses and a side table. There was also a spot in the laundry room to hang pants and a few other items. Also no tv in the main sitting room. That didn’t bother us much as it removed the distraction when we were all in there. Over all loved the spot and would definitely love to go back! ##### Brittany D. Mar 23, 2025 Liked: Location, listing accuracy #### Beautiful Cabin in the Daniel Boone Forest This was a beautiful cabin & was perfect for our group of 7\. The furniture & beds were very comfortable! We loved the fire ring & hottub. Our only complaints, which were just really minor bumps were that upon arrival 2 hours (6pm) after checkin 2 maintenance men were inside the home, they left a few minutes after we arrived and then when we tried to enter the home we couldn't with our code. We tried the side door and it was completely unlocked and open and wouldn't lock at all. StayOver did answer my call & get me a new code for the front door eventually. The side door locking mechanisms mysteriously started working again on Saturday while we were gone from the premises which was slightly nerving, were not sure if someone was there and fixed it while we were gone of what. The home had a few cleanliness issues like dead ladybugs in the kitchen & on the floors & exploded dried oatmeal in the microwave. We also had issues with live wasps inside the home. Other than that it was very clean and welcoming.Amogst those very small issues we would return to this cabin & we give it a 4/5 rating overall. ##### Ashley L.
