We are built into the hill just above Turtle Beach with a short walk to the beach and great snorkeling. The Car Park and Storage Shed is just off the road. From the Car Park, Enter through a "Kittitian" Stone entry, go down the tilled stairs, follow the winding path through a mature Island Garden entry, to the West Indian main entrance. Beyond the entrance is a Garden Eating area with beautiful Bougainvilleas, palm trees,, Fragrant Jasmine, Table and Chars under an umbrella, on a tiled deck, with views out 3 arched openings, to the tip of the Island and the Ocean. Entrance takes you into the main, Indoor Open Living Area with couch, chair, ottoman, rocker, and Entertainment Center, with 40 inch flat screen and full cable / WiFi. Open Chef's Kitchen, with Stainless appliances, large sit-at Island with prep-sink, 3 stools. Gas stove and Kitchen Work station face a window overlooking the Ocean, Nevis, and Boobie Island. The window opens onto the outside Bar & Grill Area. A Large Master Bedroom with AC, En Suite and King size bed is located off the left side of the main living area. High ceilings with traditional West Indian exposed, "Pickled" wood ceilings. There are 2 all glass French doors, one opening onto a small deck, facing Nevis and the Ocean , and the other opening onto the pool deck. There is a desk and chair. Beautifully tiled En Suite has a double vanity, shower and bath with door to outside shower which has opening facing Nevis...Good way to start the day or shower under the sunset! Through the bath enter a walk-in, his and her closet. To the right of the kitchen is a small hall with laundry area and beautifully tiled quest bath. This bath also has door to outdoor tiled shower under the stars! Off hall is upstairs Guest Bedroom with Queen Bed, small closet, lots of drawer storage, AC, Glass French doors looking out at Nevis and ocean that opens onto the pool deck. Out through the 2 sets of Nevis made \[with local hardwoods\] French Doors, brings you from the Main Indoor Living Space, to the Main Outdoor Living Space. This space comprises of a roof covered 45 foot by 25 foot space and an open sunning / pool area. Under the roof; 1\] is a Reading Area; with a couple very comfortable chairs, ottomans, table with lamp. 2\] a Dining Area; High end Teak Table and chairs that seats 10. 3\] Bar & Grill Area; A 4 stool Corner Bar made with local stones off the lot. Part of bar runs in front of windows open into the kitchen. Behind other corner of bar is liquor & glass set-up with prep area and under neath beer and wine frig. 4\] Next to Bar is stainless Gas Grill and cooking area. Sun Deck; Located in front of Cover Outdoor Living space is the sun deck with 2 comfortable padded Chaise, Seating area, 12 x 8 foot infinity edge plunge pool with built in bench seats on 2 sides. The pool is 4 feet deep on one end and 8 feet deep on the other. To the back left of the main living area is a staircase leading to the 2 downstairs bedrooms; Straight ahead is the "Over Flow bedroom"with AC. It's large, with a Queen Bed, TV entertainer center, Small dining table and 2 chairs, room on the floor for a couple of blow-up mattresses. There is an all glass French Door that looks out at Nevis and opens onto a deck with table & chairs under an umbrella. A large En-suite Bath with shower is located in the back. of room. At the foot of the stairs to the left is the spacious Garden Bedroom with AC, Queen Bed, large built in closet, 2 chest of drawers, All Glass French Door that open onto a deck looking out over the Coconut Trees, Banana trees, pretty Bougainvillea, Philipe Alamandas, and grasses in the rock garden. There is a large En-suite Bathroom with shower. Plenty of room, beautiful grounds, convenient to cockleshell beach / Reggae beach and the Nevis Water taxi. Quiet and secluded, the house is down a long dirt road then up a steep hill, but that's how you get solitude and views. Great house the pictures are accurate. Great views. Wonderful setup. Dwayne was a great support and quick to respond. House was close to some Wonderful beaches. People were very friendly. The only two issues were the dirt road to get to the house was very poor to drive on. Turtle beach was full of the sea grass floating on to the beach. Not very walkable. Both things the owners had no control over. Many islands are experiencing that. Other beaches on Caribbean side were good. Once you stay in Turtle Beach, you don't want to leave. The beautiful sunrises, the gentle breezes, and the quietness are just what we are looking for in a vacation. You have privacy with the 4 separate bedrooms and a great gathering table for family dinners and games. The washer and dryer is so handy! When you sit outside in the courtyard, you feel like you are in your own private mini jungle.The island is laid back, and some things are island time, so be prepared to have a little patience. We found this villa to be the most homey/comfortable yet. The AC in the bedrooms was very good, even for us northerners. It's great when you can drink the tap water with out getting ill too. The views are spectacular from the villa. A quick drive to many excellent restaurants and the Park Hyatt if you should choose to do a day pass and spa treatments there. House was great; plenty of space and everything you could need for your comfort. The best part is the view! There's no place on the island that can beat it! Communication was great; very responsive and they provided awesome info on places/restaurants to visit while on St Kitts. We rented a car when there and while the hills aren't for the faint of heart, getting around was pretty easy. Thanks so much to the Walkers we hope to be back there one day! ##### Lyn N. We stayed at this magnificent property for 1 week in November 2024 and truly enjoyed every minute. As many of the other reviews already mention the location is fantastic and perfect for some time to disconnect, relax and explore. Our favorite was the amazing views to Nevis and the mornings, just when the sun rises and make this place magical. Turtle Beach was not for us and we didn't snorkel or hang out there, we preferred Cockleshell beach as the beach is wider, water better suited for kids and Reggae Beach Bar was great also. You do need a vehicle do explore the island and renting from Dwayne was as simple as it gets. Highly recommend to rent from him - Bullseye Auto Rental. He will meet you at the airport when you arrive and when you depart, very easy and smooth process. During our stay we rented a cabana at the Park Hyatt for a day, very nice place basically around the corner from Cockleshell beach. A bit pricey but worth it for a day - finished the evening with dinner at Spice Mill! We also took the Scenic Railway Tour around the island, which was a great experience. "That it's the salt that's in our tears 'Cause we could have come so very far In at least as many years!...." back to Namaste ! 3rd year here in a row, the beauty never gets old....the calmness of the dawn greeting you each perfectly weathered day is what we loved best... just stunning to look out on the sea from most places in the house....we feel so connected to the sea when we arrive, just amazing...."A song I heard the ocean sing" Really is paradise....this home is perfect, clean, cool decor, earthy Caribbean feel, amazing pool we spent hours in! easy walk to the beach to collect shells......etc etc....I rate this home as highly as you can.....perfefct rental in paradise !!! This property is located at the end of the island which affords amazing views. The house is very nice. Nothing fancy which suited us fine. Large outdoor space around the pool (with dining table, reading chairs, lounge chairs and bar) which is where we spent almost all of our time. We had our 2 adult children and their spouse with us. There was plenty of room for the 6 of us. Sitting in the pool with a cold beverage overlooking Nevis was wonderful. I also loved the outdoor shower off the master bathroom with an open air window overlooking the ocean. And a group of monkeys came by each morning to say hello. We rented to cars. Be prepared to dive on the left side of the road in a right hand drive car! The house is down a long dirt road which got a bit bumpy after an hard night of rain! The house was AMAZING! Wayne and his property manager, Dwayne, were always available and helpful. The pool and deck area were loved by all three generations and the bedrooms and bathrooms suited our group perfectly. There were nice restaurants and beach access nearby.
