We stayed 3 nights in the Lavanda Apartment. It was clean, very well maintained and comfortable accommodation in charming Marezige up in the hills surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, for those wanting some distance from the crowds in nearby Koper and Piran. Our accommodation was also very close to Hrastovlje (20 min drive), the forests for our truffle hunting tour (5 min drive or 10 min walk) and walkable to the centre of Marezige (7 min uphill walk) where the wine and olive oil fountains are located, and where you can catch good sunset photos while having your wine.
Our hosts were kind and accommodating, and conduct olive oil appreciation tours onsite. You can also sample the olive oil and wines they grow.
You will need a car if you stay here, and you must like animals as the surrounding neighbours are small farms. There were no downsides for us during our stay other than the one day it rained on us.
We didn’t get to try the outdoor jacuzzi/hot tub which was inviting as we were out most of the days sightseeing.

Great location, on the beach and 5 minutes by bike to the city centre/10 minutes walk. Swimming pool, restaurant, bar and bike rental available at the property, which is excellent! Very friendly and professional staff.
Negative though is that there is no cleaning service at the apartments, you will need to do that yourself throughout all of your stay there ( not even products left for you to clean the place) and that no prevention was done for mosquitos, we ended up daily with over 20 mosquitos in every room (disinfestazione o zanzariere would have solved it).

The room was clean and very well air conditioned! The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was amazing (I paid extra for it). Very good location right off the busy main square and steps to many great restaurants and bars

"Lovely, well done hotel, in impeccable surroundings, with very friendly staff. The breakfast was delicious and well stocked. Only downside is the distance from the city centre but that is a minor inconvenience. All in all, amazing hotel with good staff and great hospitality."
