It is close walking distance to Plaza de Catalunya and many attractions, but not right in the middle of all of the tourists and the chaos that comes along with that. The windows are amazing at blocking out noise, with them closed you can hardly hear anything from the street below. The apartment has really high ceilings and is also well insulated so that we almost never heard noise from anyone above/below us either. The beds were foam mattresses, which are usually far to firm for me, but were soft enough to be quite comfortable. The management company was very good about communicating with us on our flight in and greeted us promptly upon arrival and also held our bags for us after checkout since we had a later train.
