Bangor Museum and Center for History Tours and Activities

It’s a nice place. Good staff. Breakfast was good. Overall good service and experience. Definitely recommend

We could stay for 2 hours only for what was a 3-night booking! Rooms were the dirtiest that I have seen for any hotel, we could find human hair all over the floor/bed and black patches on floor. What made the situation even worse is we had a 2 year old with us. No safe and clean space for him. Fireplace felt more of a liability with the limited space and continuous smell. There was hardly any space to keep luggage, no closet whatsoever. We could spent 2 hours at this place (1 hour of which was to find another hotel as we had arrived on a busy weekend). When we raised with staff about refund, we were asked to connect with to Expedia. When we contacted Expedia we were told that there will not be any refund as their Murphy bed was broken—this is laughable. We did not sleep or sit on the beds; we were sitting on chairs or standing while going through this ordeal—this felt like a retaliatory step by hotel to shut us up.
