The room is private and quiet, the AC is cold, towels and bedding and some bottled water are provided. The bed is extra firm, the pillows are soft and fluffy, the WiFi was fast and stable, and the staff was happy to store my luggage in the lobby after checkout for half a day until my flight. I spent some time cooling off in the lobby writing postcards too. Breakfast was corn flakes and toast and watermelon. Some of the plaster was chipped, and there is no shared kitchen or food allowed in rooms. Basically, this isn't quite a hotel, nor quite a hostel, but it's still really great and the location just off Kaohsan is awesome. You don't need food or a kitchen with the plethora of street food and restaurants available just out the door. The lady at reception was so friendly, we checked in about half hour early, got our towel and free water. The room was bigger than I expected and clean. The shared bathroom was also really clean, and you could tell it was done routinely throughout the day as the bins were never full. Also a hairdryer outside the toilets. Free breakfast was a great addition for an already affordable room. Good location if you want to be near Koah San Road. The hotel can also book an airport shuttle for you which we did, it was cheap and reliable.
