But hygiene of rooms leaves quite a lot to be desired. When I checked into the room, I wiped down the floor with Clorox wipes and they all turned black. Swatted 5 mosquitoes or so in the room. Curtains are stained. The water pressure from the showerhead becomes very weak as you turn the water to the warm end, probably to save water, but at the expense of the comfort of the shower. There are no kettles supplied in the room. We stayed 3 nights and had no hot water in our room, even after complaining twice. We also booked this hotel because we were able to take advantage if the free tuk tuk service to the train station. However, when we arrived, the hotel said the tuk tuk was ‘broken’. We would have chosen a completely different hotel had we known this. Very disappointed. Staff was really friendly though and the rooms were fairly clean.
