Upon arriving, they asked my Thai fiancée if I smoked, to which she applied yes. They gave me a smoking room that has been a smoking room for 40 years. I don't smoke in my house for the same reason I don't want to stay in a decrepit run-down smoked in hotel room. I was really annoyed when my girlfriend told me. The hotel itself looks nice at a distance, its only up close when the SMELL of the hotel, and the condition of the hotel hits your senses. You feel like you are in a building which would have seen its peak 40 years ago, and it smells like age, and mold, and rot. Being too tired to bother, we stayed the night, only to wake up in the morning covered in Bed Mite bites all over our backs. Breakfast buffet consisted mainly of the previous days lunch menu, as well as the usual fare, although sub-standard. There is NO Wi-Fi in your room. It is only in the lobby. The pool is closed at 7pm...Really! We went to the lobby to check out early after only one night, of a three night stay.
