This is a really central location. The Riverwalk mall is at a walking distance. The River walk is close. The Alamo is literally in front of the hotel. Perfect location. My issue was with the AC. The first night the sound of the old AC did not allow me to sleep
Well. The next morning it stopped working. I called front desk and they said someone was going to come check it. Nobody showed up and it was starting to get hot. There was a heat wave. So I personally went to the Front desk and explained what was happening and they said they were going to send someone. I went out cause I didn’t wanted to wait long in the room. I was out for about 4 hours. When I got back to my room it was still not working and very hot. Went down again and the Front desk guy wasn’t even empathetic and said he was going to send someone but i said it was very hot inside and I been waiting almost all day that’s when he said he was going to change my room. The new room was perfect. The AC did not have a sound.

The rooms are all two room suites, a living room and a bedroom. They are very spacious and well decorated with modern furniture. It is one of the nicest rooms I have had over many trips. We had a view of the riverwalk and the room was perfectly positioned so as to prevent the sun from roasting the room. The only negative about the hotel is trying to pull your car into the valet area. The streets outside the hotel are not easy to navigate and the lines can make check in take extra time. The hotel does their best working with what they have. I would definitely stay here again and would HIGHLY recommend it. The location is perfect for a stay on the Riverwalk.

When I booked the rooms thru Expidia I was told the price included all taxes and fees. But when I arrived the hotel charged me $22 a night "destination fees" which were explained as taxes.

"We arrived and the office had our envelope with all our information. Check in was smooth. Bathrooms and the cabin was clean. Clean blankets and towels. The other visitors were kind. The scenery was beautiful. Overall this resort was absolutely amazing. I would definitely recommend."
