Nestled in a charming north Hertfordshire village, this lovely cottage offers the perfect retreat with its fully equipped kitchen/diner and spacious lounge. Enjoy al fresco dining in the sun-trapped courtyard garden or unwind on comfortable seating with a large screen TV.

About this property
Character cottage for four in beautiful village steeped in history
- Located in an unspoilt north Hertfordshire village, this lovely cottage is situated in a converted granary, retaining much of its character including many exposed beams.
The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen/diner with electric oven and hob, fridge freezer and dishwasher. At one end is a table and chairs for four.
There is a spacious lounge with comfortable seating and large screen TV.
Upstairs are two bedrooms - one with a king size bed and one double. The roomy bathroom features a bath with shower over.
The cottage has gas central heating with a combi boiler providing on-demand hot water.
Outside is a charming courtyard garden fitted out with bench seating on three sides and a dining table. The courtyard is something of a sun trap (although there is ample shade provided by the pretty wisteria) and is perfect for enjoying an outdoor meal, drink or just relaxing with a book.

Fantastic location and superb hosts
The property was clean and the hosts were very welcoming and responsive. A perfect location in the perfect village with short access to local pubs and walking paths. The locals are extremely friendly and will say ‘hello’ as you walk through the village. Recommend Rhubard and Mustard for a coffee and piece of cake.
