About this property
Private Forest Retreat with Hot Tub & Dog-Friendly Stays
Escape to Cabin Fever, a cozy, private tiny home tucked among towering evergreens and lush ferns on beautiful Bainbridge Island. Whether you're planning a romantic getaway, a spontaneous overnight escape, or a peaceful weekend away, Cabin Fever offers a uniquely Pacific Northwest retreat.
Spend your evenings soaking in your private, year-round hot tub beneath the trees. Enjoy your morning coffee on the deck, relax in the hammock, or curl up inside and enjoy the quiet of the surrounding forest.
Inside, you'll find a romantic queen sleeping loft with a deluxe mattress, a pull-out sleeper sofa, Wi-Fi, and a fully equipped kitchen stocked with spices, cooking oil, and everything you need to prepare your favorite meals.
Complimentary self-serve breakfast provisions are included with every stay, featuring pancake mix, syrup, granola, coffee, tea, and a few pantry basics. Enjoy a relaxed breakfast at your own pace in the privacy of your cabin. Breakfast is self-serve rather than a prepared meal service.
You'll have exclusive use of the entire cabin, deck, and outdoor hot tub. The main residence is also on the property, but Cabin Fever is a separate space designed for privacy and relaxation. I'm nearby if you need anything, but otherwise the space is yours to enjoy undisturbed.
Cabin Fever feels wonderfully secluded while remaining close to the island's favorite destinations. Stroll to Rolling Bay for coffee, explore Bay Hay and Feed, visit Bainbridge Island Vineyards, or enjoy the waterfront at Fay Bainbridge Park. Downtown Winslow is just 4 miles away, offering restaurants, shops, galleries, and access to the Seattle ferry.
The queen sleeping loft is accessed by a ladder and may not be suitable for guests with mobility limitations. Dedicated guest parking is provided near the Cabin Fever sign, with a short, illuminated woodland walkway leading to the cabin. We recommend having a flashlight or phone light handy when arriving after dark.
Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome with an additional pet fee. Please keep pets off furniture, clean up after your pets, and do not leave them unattended unless crated. Guests are responsible for additional cleaning or damage.
Looking for something a little different? Guests are welcome to arrange a Tarot With Tonia reading during their stay, with special pricing exclusively for Cabin Fever guests.
Come for a night or stay a little longer. Cabin Fever is your place to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
Bainbridge Island is home to this cabin. Space Needle and Pike Place Market are notable landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Alki Beach and Lake Union. Consider Seattle Center for a night out, and don't miss WaMu Theater, a top local attraction. Visit our Bainbridge Island travel guide

Truly a quant cabin in the woods, just out of sight of the distant neighbors. Very cute, relaxing and romantic. Tight quarters, the shower and bathroom are right in the middle of the main living space. Good to be comfortable with anyone you may be sharing this space with. For me it was perfect, much more of an interesting experience than a normal condo rental.
Exactly what we needed! This staycation felt like a hidden gem in our own backyard. Private, quiet, and quaint for a perfect night or two away from work and kids. Amenities were perfect! The whole experience was more than I expected.
Host was very welcoming and helpful. The cabin was cozy . The hottub was perfect. However, the freezer part of the frig needed defrosting badly, there was not handwashing sink for after using the very cute toilet, beds were not comfortable
It was a lovely lil cabin but it didnt have as much privacy as we wouldve liked. The hot tub was very nice and hot. The Cabin was pretty clean however we didnt notice the big stains all over mattress until we stripped the bedding upon check out and was left a lil uncomfortable with that. There was absolutely no privacy for the hot tub. At night it feels as if your being watched without any privacy drapes. Not recommended for old or mobility challenges. But it was a quaint and peaceful stay. I would recommend the stay thou.
Very cute little house, ladder to the bed was a little treacherous but that's what made it fun. Heaters worked well, hot tub was clean and actually hot.
We stayed as a surprise for my girlfriends birthday. She adored the cabin, & everything about it. Everything was very clean & functional. Definitely recommend.
The layout of the cabin is wonderful, the minimalist feel still provides everything we needed and more. The hot tub was clean and perfect temp. The loft bed and the sofa were both comfortable, the sheets were fabulous. Everything was amazing 10/10 would stay again and plan to!
My best friend and I had a great night at the cabin! We enjoyed getting to unwind and relax in the hot tub. The bathroom was a bit of a surprise. Overall we had a lovely night and would absolutely come back!
Cabin Fever was the perfect getaway stay for me and my partner. After spending a few days in the city, it was nice to enjoy some peace in the midst of the trees. The cabin was easy to get to, although a little muddy in the rain. We appreciated the amenities the most and made sure to use both the hot tub and fire pit. The experience was cute and cozy and felt a lot like glamping. Thank you to Tonia for a wonderful stay!

Rustic, cosy. Enjoyed the fire pit into the evening. 2 couples - loft - need to be able to climb ladder stairs. Both beds were comfy.
No surprises. A lovely house tucked into a wooded property. Was a little cramped for a family of 4, but we more than knew that going in. It was a welcomed reprieve from a busy travel schedule. Easy to get to many trails, parks, playgrounds, and into town.
Cabin is private, away from the main house so you have privacy, yet feel safe. You are in the middle of a beautiful forest where you can sit outside on the deck with your morning coffee or lay in the hammock reading a book and watch birds. We enjoyed the hotub after spending the day shopping in nearby Bainbridge. I slept on the futon (not as comfy as I’d like, but I managed) while My daughter enjoyed the lioft bed (you do have to climb a ladder)
