"The property needs to get rid of all carpet and they have a high potential of a 5 star. The staff are really friendly and the atmosphere was good and all amenities were clean."

The Cove at Atlantis
4/10 Poor
"We have always loved staying at the Cove and have been coming here since it first opened. First, the Cove pool is closed (relocated to a previously vacant pool area) until December. We were not informed of this prior to booking. At check-in at the hotel we were still not informed about the pool closure, nor that work was being done on the Cove rooms Monday through Saturday 8am-6pm. They also did not inform us that both poolside restaurants at the Reef and the Cove were also closed. Not only did we have to find this all out on our own, once we did find out and contacted the front desk staff, they offered no compensation in room upgrade, decreased pricing, or any type of “perk” to correct the situation for disgruntled frequently returning guests. Additionally, once at the “relocated pool” location, the nearest woman’s restroom was a 10 minute walk away to the children’s pool. These restrooms were always out of toilet paper, showed no sign of maintenance, and many of the stall doors didn’t even lock. For those traveling with young children, the absence of door locks on bathroom stalls would alarm me.
The Cove remodeling could have gone much better if it had been better-planned, and guests were alerted with some good PR prior to the remodel. Upgrades, discounts, and offering perks (free water and soda to start would have been nice), and a lot better customer service, would have gone a long way!!"

Warwick Paradise Island- All Inclusive- Adults Only
6/10 Okay
"This was an enjoyable stay but the property fell short on a few things. First, the food was lack luster. Nothing I had was something to write home about. Eating at the restaurants was nearly impossible, we mainly had to eat at the buffet most of the time. Late night food offerings were disappointing. How is there no 24 hour room service? Upon checkout, our wristbands were cut so we were not allowed to do anything except sit in the lobby for an hour while we waited for our transport back to the airport. When asked for a 12 PM checkout no one got back to us (or anyone traveling with our party). A shuttle was offered daily to Atlantis if you wanted to go gambling or see the resort. However it only runs at 8 PM and 11 PM so if you want to go at any other time you have to figure it out yourself. It would have been nice to offer transportation to the Straw Market or other points of interest for guests. They have the vehicles. There needs to be a swim up bar or easier ways to get to the bar. Only two steps in and out for such a big pool was ridiculous. The pros? Very clean rooms, very nice staff some of the best customer service I’ve ever had, HEAVY pours at the bars, private beach on the channel and large pool. Nightly entertainment was a lot of fun! Overall, good stay but resort needs some experience improvements."

British Colonial - Nassau
8/10 Good
"Overall we had a nice stay. Spacious room with large bathroom. Had signed up for an ocean view king with a balcony … which we had. But you had to be standing to see the water from both due to high windows in the bedroom and a wall around the deck. Oftentimes long waits at the front desk and mixed messages depending on who you spoke with. Our daughter, son-in-law, and 5 and 7 year olds visited the hotel from their cruise ship one day, which happened to a coincidence. A day ahead I asked the front desk what the charge would be, as we knew the hotel charges for non-registered guests to use their beach and pool. We were told that there would not be a charge for us because we were staying at the property and guest passes would be issued for them. The morning before their arrival, I went to the front desk to pick up these passes and was told by the associate on duty that this was an error and that I would be charged. I was then directed to the woman at the gift shop who would take care of these passes. She indicated that children under 12 years old would be free. She then proceeded to take me and three other people out to a small office by the beach to have the person there handle the billing for the passes. I understood, of course, that the hotel must control use of their beach facilities due to the number of cruise ships arriving daily at the nearby docks. I ended up paying for two adults and two children. A disappointing mess for certain. Food and service very good overall."
