I would highly recommend staying at this motel. It is very clean and the property is very well maintained. They have grills, fire pit, corn hole, and a pool to help keep everyone entertained. Great job to management!

Very cute and small little cabin with the basics. Incredibly walkable to downtown! The port Austin Farmers market was awesome and the Inn and restaurant across the street played live music at night. Clean room and friendly Staff!

Clean and Cozy

Check-in is always super quick, we’ve stayed here a few times and will definitely be back. The rooms are nice and cozy and very clean ! I love that there’s hot water for showers. We’ve used the pool in the past and it’s very clean as well.

Check-in was quick, staff was helpful. I would have liked to have known ahead of time that 3% was added for credit card payment; would have brought a check or cash. (If there was something in the listing about this I missed it.) The room (#7)--everything that could be cleaned was spotless, however the carpeting in the bed area was stained and gross. I'm sure it was vacuumed but but it looked dirty. The "closet" in the bed area was unfinished with pipes going through with unpainted dry wall. But you could hang your clothes, though only 3 hangers. And unfortunately the mattress could use replacing (very squishy) though my husband and I did sleep pretty well. It was quiet. The kitchen was very well-stocked with dishes and cooking implements. The bathroom was very clean but the bathroom door would not close all the way (poorly hung), the hinges squeaked, and the toilet seat made a horrible screeching sound when opened or closed. The grounds were well-kept, including the pool. It was an easy walk into town.

This was our second year staying here and we absolutely enjoyed it again this year. Everything is nice and clean, walkable to downtown and other stores, nice heated pool and big outdoor space with fire pit, grills and picnic tables to use. We will be back!

My husband and I found the Blue Spruce Motel to be perfect for our long weekend stay in Port Austin. Easy walking distance to everything in town, and to the beach. Our room was clean, there was not a single thing to complain about. Pool was clean…we did not jump in but we did sit a while with our feet in, relaxing.

This property was about the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed at!!! It was immaculate!!! We had a cozy little cabin and it was so cute!!! Outdoor pool was heated and even on a 70 degrees day it was comfortable and relaxing!! Cute decor throughout the place and pool area!! Definitely will stay here again!!

A great spot for an overnight visit to Port Austin. I was more than impressed by how clean everything was. The internet, however, did not work for us. I wasted lots of time trying to get on and work with it and ended up getting much better service with my phone's hotspot.

The room was clean. Staff were friendly. The only complaint would be the party going on in the parking lot. Although it was not loud, it was unnerving having to go through the party to get to our room. I would recommend staying here.
