Woodpecker is a charming and cosy cottage, perfect for couples seeking a peaceful countryside retreat. Nestled within the tranquil surroundings of Leahill Cottages, this delightful one-bedroom property offers comfort, character, and a relaxing setting for a memorable stay.



Downstairs, Woodpecker boasts a welcoming open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area, thoughtfully designed to make the most of the space while offering a cosy and sociable atmosphere. Whether you're preparing meals, relaxing with a book, or enjoying a quiet evening together, the cottage provides a wonderful home-from-home feel. Also located on the ground floor is the bathroom, complete with a bath and shower over, WC, and wash basin.



Upstairs, the cottage features a pretty bedroom sleeping two guests, providing a comfortable space to unwind after a day exploring the local area.



Outside, guests and their dogs can enjoy a lovely private garden area, ideal for al fresco dining, morning coffee, or simply soaking up the peaceful countryside surroundings. Guests also share large grounds, a dog walking field, and well-tended communal gardens.



Situated in the peaceful hamlet of Greendown near Axminster, Woodpecker is perfectly located for exploring the beautiful Jurassic Coast, scenic countryside walks, charming market towns, and a variety of local attractions, independent shops, and welcoming pubs. Whether you're looking for a relaxing rural getaway or an active break discovering the local area, Woodpecker offers an ideal base.



All fuel is metered and visitors are charged at cost. The meters are read shortly before arrival and the readings are entered on a form left for you in the cottage. Guests are kindly asked to fill in the final readings and settle the balance before departure.
