"We upgraded to a Sydney Harbour Studio Suite and had access to the Club lounge (Lounge 32). I have stayed in literally hundreds of hotels around the world and many of them luxury properties with VIP treatment, executive privileges, private lounges, and every imaginable high end amenity. Yet somehow, our stay at the Four Seasons Hotel Sydney stands as one of the single best hotel experiences I can remember.
From the moment my wife and I walked through the doors we were treated with genuine warmth, professionalism, and care. Every detail was flawless. The service was impeccable, the suite was absolutely stunning, ALL the food at the Lounge 32 was exceptional including “healthy” and vegetarian options. Besides snacks and drinks we ate a full breakfast, lunch and dinner there on multiple occasions. Even the gym deserves recognition. It’s a good gym and open 24 hours, which was a huge plus for us.
What made this stay truly unforgettable was not the hotel itself, it was the people. Every single staff member made us feel valued and welcomed. Special thanks to Carol, Aly, Pulin, Ramon at the bell desk, Thibault, Michelle, Giulia, JT, Anais, Nina, Augustina, Albane and Louis for the great tips where to hike and all the staff at Lounge 32 and of course Coco! The list goes on with the wonderful breakfast hostess, servers and the restaurant managers at the Mode. We want to thank everyone we encountered throughout the property including the doormen. We loved our stay here!"
"What a beautiful stay, the staff went above and beyond, the room was beautiful, the ocean views stunning and the restaurants lovely. The only let down was room service, you never really got what you ordered on the menu. "
"Stayed here for 7 days and I will not stay here again.
- On one morning, the alarm bell rang at 5am. Then again at 7am. They were both false alarms, just disturbing our sleep for no reason.
- The housekeeping service is awful. My room wasn't even vacuumed once. On one day, the housekeeper didn't give me any towels. I had to go down to reception to get some, and I was told that they were out of floor towels, so I was just given a normal towel to use on the floor. Also, the shampoo bottle was empty and wasn't topped up once.
I guess that is what you get for a cheaper hotel. Don't stay here if you're gonna stay for more than two nights. Stay at Castlereagh Boutique Hotel, which costs slightly more but at least their housekeeping service is great. And they don't have fire alarms that ring at 5am for no reason."
"We love staying at the Fullerton Hotel. It is central to all the amazing restaurants and bars and very convenient for shopping around the city. Highly recommend."
