Two days into the vacation, unfortunately there was a hiccup. The refrigerator broke down, and not an old one.An unexpected surprise, but Chris and Heidi handled it promptly and we used coolers with ice for a day, which they provided until they brought us a fridge to use until they were able to replace the one that quit. When staying at this property not only is the lake beautiful the location great, but best of all you can count on the very responsive hosts. Despite rainy weather we were still able to take advantage of the beautifully decorated and well equipped home. We took full advantage of the hot tub to warm up, but unfortunately did not have time to utilize the other amenities such as the sauna or fire pit. We were able to do that comfortably everywhere we turned, living room, dining table, deck, fire ring, dock and the kitchen was large enough for us all to contribute to meal prep. We didn't need to venture away from the Lakeside retreat, it had everything we needed. And the extra's just made it amazing, Fruit, flowers, bottled water, plenty of kitchen, bath and "lake" towels. It was very clean and spacious. Heidi said they were still "new" at this, but to all of us, it seemed like Heidi and Chris have been doing this for years!
