The house sits in a nice location on the lake making it easy to get around. The kids caught a ton of fish (small mouth and perch) right off the dock. As far as the house, it was fantastically clean and stayed cool even during some hot days, so the window AC units are up to the task. Everything else was in good working order too. Furniture was dusty, fans dusty and cobwebs. Screen door missing in lakeside bedroom. Bedroom blinds and floor fan broken.Couldnt get TV to work. We passed the place many times as there is NO roadside sign or house number and the property is not visible from the road. On the positive side, the location is beautiful. The new wrap around deck was great and we really appreciated having the kayaks and floaties there! We did have a great time but recommend a thorough cleaning out of old junk and a good cleaning in order to encourage return renters. ##### William C. The house had plenty of room and beautiful views of Owasco. We really enjoyed the kayaks and fishing during the day and ping-pong tournaments at night. Auburn is 20 minutes away and had plenty of good restaurants and we found a lot to do within a short drive away. Awesome waterfall trail at Fillmore Glen State Park, around 15 minutes from the house.
