Originally the Captain's Bridge Motel in the 1970s, the interior has been Fully Renovated into a Stylish Modern Design. The property boasts PRIVATE GAZEBO ACCESS to a beautiful, SECLUDED BEACH for the enjoyment of peaceful strolls, shelling, sunbathing, and sunset walks. There is also the coastal bike path for refreshing jogging, bike riding, or walking. Escape to your little piece of paradise in this delightful BEACHSIDE Studio Condo! Offering an OCEAN VIEW from the East side of the complex, this Coastal Oasis offers comfort and convenience in one cozy, inviting space, perfect for single travelers or a couple. The unit will sleep up to 4 guests (2 adults, 2 small children). We do not recommend more than 3 adults. If you are traveling in larger groups and require additional units, please inquire about our other listings within the same Oceanfront Complex. We have multiple units that are side by side. NOTE: This unit's shower was recently remodeled. We elected to provide a full size shower and due to space considerations we took out the bathroom vanity. The kitchen sink serves as the only sink in the unit. We have found this an appropriate use of the space, however we want to make sure our guests are aware and comfortable with the layout of the unit prior to booking. \[INTERIOR DESCRIPTION\] The 300 sq. ft studio layout presents the ideal setting for a casual retreat by the SEA. The unit is furnished with a queen-sized bed. The ensuite bathroom featuring a shower, a Keurig coffee maker, and a kitchenette stocked with basic appliances. In the living area, you'll find a full-sized futon, Smart TV, Wi-Fi, and a small table with 2 chairs creating a welcoming area for entertainment and relaxation. \[PROPERTY DESCRIPTION/AMENITIES\] Embrace the coastal lifestyle with PRIVATE BEACH ACCESS and over 600ft of Pristine SECLUDED shoreline! The community amenities include a large grassy recreational area with outdoor showers/picnic tables/charcoal grills, a fish cleaning station, and a sparkling clear community pool. Indulge in shelling, sunbathing, and sunset walks along the beach! Enjoy your morning coffee or evening glass of wine taking in the Breathtaking Ocean Views from one of the Oceanfront Gazebos or from the fixed seating areas on the 2nd floor wraparound deck. The Coastal Bike Path is adjacent to the property for jogging, biking, or walking. \[RESTAURANTS/SHOPS\] Many local eateries/shops are within walking distance. Dollar General, Dairy Queen, and Restaurants are directly across the street. A Food Lion, movie theater, and a shopping center are a short drive away. You will find a booklet listed with recommended local Activities & Restaurants inside your unit. \[HOUSEKEEPING/LAUNDRY\] There is no daily maid service but towel swap outs can be arranged for a nominal fee upon request (paid directly to the cleaning service). Please call the number on the placard inside your unit to coordinate any housekeeping requests. There is a credit card operated laundry room onsite (3 washers/3 dryers) for your laundry needs. \[PEST CONTROL\] A pest control company is contracted to treat the entire complex on a quarterly basis. Note that we are located in a coastal environment by the Ocean. \[PARKING PASS\] \-1 parking pass is provided per reservation. \-An additional pass can be requested prior to your stay for an additional $25. \[NO-SMOKING POLICY\] \-Smoking, vaping, drug usage is NOT allowed inside the unit or ANYWHERE on the property. Guests who wish to smoke MUST walk out to the fence by W Fort Macon Road or onto the physical beach (past the gazebos and away from other guests). \-Violators may be asked to leave the property IMMEDIATELY without a refund. \-Violators may also be charged with an additional $300 cleaning fee. \[PET POLICY\] \-DOGS ONLY, no cats or exotic animals. \-1 non-aggressive breed under 50lbs can be accommodated with host approval for a $100 pet fee. \-German Shepards, Pit Bulls, Doberman Pinchers, or Rottweilers are not allowed. \-All Guests planning to bring a dog MUST inform the host beforehand of the dog's size/breed and confirm that vaccinations/flea meds are up to date. \-Guests who are not transparent and are caught on property with an unauthorized animal will be asked to leave the property immediately without a refund. \-Dogs must be crated when left unattended inside the unit. Room is very small but very well appointed, so it was like a hotel room with bonus accessories. Bed was comfortable and so was the futon. The complex property is immaculately cared for. We are old people who had trouble with our "smart" tv, and a technician was standing at the door about 10 minutes after I sent a text for help! He fixed us up in about 30 seconds. Outside had high top chairs that are perfect for sipping coffee in the morning with an ocean view. They had great communication with me during the stay and even upgraded me free of charge. Small but had everything I needed! Kitchen was well stocked for a couple or small family. Itā€™s a little weird not having a bathroom sink, but the kitchen sink is directly outside the bathroom door and there is a mirror behind the sink so it didnā€™t feel too odd, and the full size shower was nice. Appreciated the beach chairs available and the cold ac! Only recommendation would be to make the door easier to lock, deadbolt is a bit off from the frame. This is our third summer staying at this complex but our first summer in this specific building. Iā€™d definitely say we preferred the blue building to this one, but it was still nice for our short visit. Love the private beach access and community pool. Room looked pretty similar to the listing. I saw all the complaints about the lack of sink in the bathroom but didnā€™t think it would be a big deal. We truly wouldnā€™t mind that much, but there was also virtually no counter space in the kitchen. With more counter space, the lack of sink in the bathroom wouldā€™ve been no issue. Bed was super comfy, and super appreciated the complimentary beach chairs! Kinda bummed the guest book was filled up, but thatā€™s obviously not a big deal for booking. Unit could definitely use some updates, but overall nice value for the price we paid. ##### Alicia N. The bathroom were cramped. The air conditioning worked but did little to help with the humidity always seemed to be sweating.
