Lieu et vue magnifique !

J’ai adoré l’appartement, particulièrement la terrasse et la vue extraordinaire sur l’acropole et le vieux Athènes ! C’est super pratique pour le métro… Le propriétaire est très réactif et sympa.

This is a great apartment, but the balcony is superb. It has a stunning view over the Agora and towards the Temple of Hephaestus, and am angled view towards the Acropolis itself. It was amazing. The apartment is ideal for a stay in Athens, it is in the heart of the tourist centre, right next to Monastiriki square and subway. This apartment helped make our visit to Athens perfect.

Apartment does not seem to be in a safe area. Dilapidated building with graffiti across street. Door handles seemed broken. One of the beds had old sheets on it. Not worth the money!

Very memorable stay in Athens - the view of the north side of Acropolis and slopes is excellent from this property. Host was helpful with questions we had about Athens and getting around. Location very near Metro was convenient (Blue Line and Green Line). Rooftop bars and restaurants were very loud at night and could be heard through walls of unit. However this is the trade-off for the location. AC was not sufficient during a period of very high temperatures. Unfortunately, the balcony plants had not survived the summer heat.

We had several issues at this property. First, the codes were different for getting in than what we were given. We had to wait to get in until we heard back from the host. There was trash in the can in the bedroom including a women's dress and underwear. I opened an appliance in the kitchen and there was food in it. When the shower was used, water came up through the tiles and ran into the living area.There was an uncapped partially used shampoo bottle in the shower. There was no bath mat, nor were there bedside lights in our bedroom. Outdoor space could have been lovely, but all the plants were dead.The location was pretty great. There were many restaurants and shops nearby. The view from the balcony was very nice. I really felt like we should not have had to pay a cleaning fee. I'm not convinced the bed was even clean.

A wonderful hello and troubled Goodbye

We arrived at this property two days prior to beginning our cruise. The property is located in a bustling part of Athens close to several cafes and not too far away from the major sites. Check-in and Check out went smoothly. We also stayed at this property on our return from our cruise. Unfortunately the check-in was hampered because the cleaning folks were new and mixed up the cleaning dates and so did not clean the apartment and did not leave a key to get in. A call to the owner quickly fixed that and we were let in to the apartment and the cleaning people arrived afterwards to clean.

Great place with an amazing view

The view was spectacular! We loved sitting on the balcony in the evenings. The neighborhood was bustling, but we had our own music, which cancelled out any noise. The apartment was clean and quiet, perfect for our stay. They also recommended a driver from/to the airport, which was extremely helpful, because our flight out was very early in the morning

Great apartment in the heart of all the tourist restaurants and bars. Fairly busy all night long so not for you if a light sleeper. The only thing I would ask for is nicer towels, the place is well kept and the view is world class.

Wonderful stay

I enjoyed the apartment and its location very much. You’re only a few steps from Monasteraki square and many nearby historical places. I recommend this to a couple or single person, it was perfectly situated and was a lovely accommodation. Be sure to read how to use the hot water. The host was kind enough to help several times and was easy to contact. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Good Location not as advertised

Unbiased and honest review. The pictures from the host show a beautiful view and it is. However, what it doesn’t show is the streets are covered in trash, cigarette butts and the smells were nauseating. There’s a much closer luggage locker to the apartment than the one the host recommended and the streets are not easy to pull luggage down the half mile away. The other one is a block and a half from the apartment and cost the same €2 an hour. The apartment itself is okay enough for the price, though the toilet lid and one of the shades was broken upon arrival. When we informed the host, they knew about it so it was disappointing we didn’t get a heads up. They also waited until check in to let us know the fire place is just for show… The elevator is very small and the steps are steep. The apartment in the pictures looked beautiful and in person it looks cheaply maintained. The city noises are very clear and loud to hear through the apartment but it was also a Greek holiday so maybe it’s not as bad on an average stay. Communication was very slow, we’d wait days for a response and would have to send another message to finally hear back. Hotels are more expensive in the area so you get what you pay for with this place. The location was very convenient and within walking distance of most everything and the AC worked very well. We will likely pay more to stay in a hotel next time.
