"This is an old Victorian hotel with character. It suited us because it's not modern and sterile like so many other hotels today. The room was comfortable and staff were friendly. We did not eat at the hotel so we can't comment on the food. The town is lovely to walk around with a couple of cafes ..."

"We enjoyed the spacious room facilities. Enjoyable breakfast and engaging staff. Did not utilise the restaurant on this occasion but have previously had the wonderful fish and chips dish. Thankfully beautiful sunshine which added to the golfing and beach walking."
