The Property has 3x bedrooms, one with an ensuite, an open plan kitchen, living and dining area incorporating a wood fireplace for those cooler winter nights, new flooring, sliding doors opening onto new extended decking across the front of the property, European bathroom /laundry with separate shower. Air conditioned/split system, TV and DVD player, outdoor furniture and BBQ, carport, fully fenced yard for our furry friends who are most welcome to enjoy all this property has to offer. The Property is exceptional value for families or friends where you arrive, drop your bags, park the car and unwind. Sit on the deck, read a good book, laze by the fireplace, play cards, discuss the days events, what you did today and what you'll do tomorrow. Close by are amazing heathlands to view local fauna and wildlife, kangaroos graze in the street and surrounding bushland, golf course with mini golf for the kids, local beaches, bike tracks, skate parks, Coogoorah Park and its amazing old time ship for the kids, the Arthouse to try your hand and painting or ceramics, summer markets on the riverfront, something for everyone! Complete with comfy couches, beautiful patio and very well equipped throughout. Highlight was the record player and awesome music collection! It’s in a beautiful bush setting, a short drive from the beach. The only downside was that linen was not supplied and was an extra $35 per bed. We found several pieces of linen (T-towels, face washes and 2 sheets) stained. Also after having our booking accepted and fully paid for, we were told we couldn’t check in until we uploaded digital ID to the (overseas) agency. We are a family of 5 and a dog and it was perfect for all of us! The house was clean and cosy. The fireplace was amazing and it was our favourite place to be at the end of the day. The huge deck was perfect for meals, coffees, wines or reading peacefully amongst the beautiful trees and birds. Thank you to the owners for a wonderful stay. Walking distance to the waterfront, although an uphill walk going back. It was great to sit in front of the fire at night and just relax. All amenities provided was pretty much everything you needed. Small moan, pillows (stained & flat) and doonas (thin, no warmth) are well past their use by date and could do with a freshen up. We took our own so this did not detract from our comfort/warmth The area was so peaceful and sitting out on the deck made it feel like we were staying at a bush retreat not in town. Hubby, myself, our two kids and dog stayed for 10 days. Fantastic house. Clean, spacious, everything worked. At the end of a cul-de-sac, very quiet location. Birds hang out in the verandah.
