This home is the perfect spot for family vacations, Clemson events/ football weekends, fishing tournaments, or a tranquil "getaway." We are ideally located only 13 miles from Clemson University, 2.5 miles from Portman Marina and Galley Waterfront Restaurant, and 5 miles from GreenPond Landing and Event Center (Home of the Bassmaster Pro Fishing Tournament). Upon entering the home from the covered rocking chair front porch, you will notice its high pine ceilings and cozy cabin feeling, hosting a spacious and comfy living room and kitchen. Enjoy the wood-burning fireplace and 55-inch Samsung Smart Television while relaxing in the living area. This home comes equipped with Cable Television, Smart TVs, and Wifi. Enjoy cooking in our well-equipped kitchen, including a double oven w/air fryer, all stainless steel appliances, and granite countertops. We also offer many small appliances (crock pot, blender, toaster, etc.) and many extras to make you feel right at home. The dining room showcases multiple windows overlooking the serene view and a large farmhouse dining table and high chair to welcome plenty of seating. There is also an office area with a desk and monitor, and we offer free Wifi to allow our guests a quiet space for remote work or school. The home has 2 bedrooms and 1 full (tub/shower) bathroom on the main level and 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms on the lower level. The first bedroom on the main level has a King size bed and 40-inch Samsung Smart Television. The second room on the main level has a Queen size bed and a 40" Samsung Smart TV. All bedrooms are large with plenty of space, and the king rooms have space for a pack-n-play or inflatable bed if needed. The lower level of the home offers the spacious Master Bedroom, with a California King bed, a pack-n-play, a full shower/tub bathroom, and a 37" Flat Screen TV with Apple TV. The fourth bedroom on the lower level of the home has a Full-size bed, a Twin size bed with a twin trundle bed, and a 32-inch Smart Television with Roku. There is a second entertainment/living area on the lower level. This area includes a recreational game room with a Poker Table, Pac Man Arcade Game that includes 14 other games, dart board, various board games, a basket of toys & balls, books, and a comfortable sectional couch/Queen sleeper sofa and 50" Samsung Smart Television. This living area also has a kitchenette with a second refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, sink, and bar. The laundry room on the home's lower level has a Whirlpool washer, dryer, and utility wash sink. Outdoors has a beautiful wrap-around porch on the home's main level, with 3 dining tables, an outdoor bar area (Tiki hut), and a Weber Gas Grill. On the lower level of the home, there is a covered patio sitting area to enjoy the peace and beauty of the outdoors or roast marshmallows by the fire pit. There is a fun-loving fairy tale two-story playhouse with electricity, a play kitchen, and a tool table for children to enjoy the great outdoors. We provide a Cornhole set, various outdoor balls, a 4 person Paddle Boat, 2 Kayaks, Large Water Pad, several floats and noodles. There is even a special little doggy walk-up ramp for our 4-legged family members after enjoying the large fenced-in yard. Enjoy a walk to the lake on the concrete golf cart/walking path. Bring your boat, jet skis, fishing rods, and Watersport fun! There are also several local boat rental companies conveniently located on Lake Hartwell. We have a newly built dock (2022) that offers a covered slip, an easy entry ladder, and a sundeck with Adirondack chairs and lounge chairs to enjoy sitting at the lake. We have a Paddle Boat that seats 4, 2 Kayaks (Two people and one person), and several adult and child-size life vests. Sit fireside by the lake at our concrete Fire Pit area; roast S'mores, Hot Dogs, or enjoy sharing stories and laughs as you make memories. Anglers love this property! We offer plenty of room for boat and/or trailer parking, Green Pond Landing is only 5 miles from the home, and there are 2 excellent Bait and Tackle shops right around the corner. We have hosted anglers from the Bassmasters, Junior Bassmasters, and many other tournaments. There is a 2 car carport and private drive as you enter this beautiful wooded lot. We have plenty of room for parking your vehicles and boat. A security camera is placed on the front porch for additional security while the home is vacant and during turnover; however, we do not keep it on while you occupy the home. We have 5-6 feet of water at the dock when the lake is full, however Lake Hartwell has fluctuating water lake levels that can affect the water depth and access at the dock. fluctuate on Lake Hartwell. Very spacious, so many amenities, the beds were comfortable, we enjoyed all the outdoor seating options. We really liked having the extra space downstairs. The dock is private and roomy with adirondack chairs so you can enjoy reading a book by the water. The enormous fenced in yard was a great space for our dog to be able to safely run and explore. There is plenty of parking. The owners are kind and easy to work with and quick to respond to any questions. This home was perfect for our family of 7, ranging in age from 21 to 78, and for our pet. It’s a short and easy drive to Portman Marina where we launched our boat and jet ski. We enjoyed being able to boat up to pet-friendly El Arriero At The Shores to enjoy food, drinks and music. The Full Circle Cafe in Anderson is a great little pizza place that was perfect for carry-out our first night there. This was our first trip to Lake Hartwell and the Anderson, SC area. It was an alternative to our usual summer beach trip. We loved everything about the home and the location. We would definitely recommend this vacation rental to family and friends. The bedrooms are large and room for everyone (inside and outside). The master bedroom on the lower level has a sliding glass door out to the yard which made it easy when taking dogs outside. The back yard is completely fenced in so we never worried about our grand babies and our fur babies playing. The play room on the lower level was a big hit with the kids. We brought our boat, the boat landing was within miles and the dock @ the house was great. There is a sidewalk down to the dock and even a cart to help carry items to the boat. The only issue we had was the walk back from the dock. It was very challenging and reminded most of us we need to work out more(lol). The kitchen is well stocked. One thing I wish I had known to inquire about was the depth of the water off the dock. It is very shallow and made for not great swimming but the dock is awesome and if you have a boat it is great. We enjoyed the kayaks and fishing off the dock. The exterior is in need of some clean up. The bushes are over grown and there was a lot of debris on the path to the dock. We will stay again if we plan to rent a boat. Just a twenty minute drive to Clemson University. It rained during our stay so we were u able to enjoy the lake, dock or any provided water toys. But were able to play poker downstairs in the provided poker table to make our stay rememberable. We will come back to hit up a Clemson football game or two in the future. Ashley was awesome. The property is exactly as advertised, and offers even more than the photos and descriptions online. The home was very clean, especially for a property that is so obviously pet friendly. There was plenty of room for our family, and local friends who stopped by to hang out-both inside and out. The bedrooms were perfect for our needs. The bathrooms were very nice, and well supplied with plenty of linens. The kitchen had all of the amenities we could possibly want, and plenty of cookware and utensils. The hosts make a point of wanting you to feel right at home, and so many small details were already taken care of-including things we hadn't thought of. Hand soaps, extra linens, paper towels, laundry detergent, dish soap, bathroom supplies-shampoo, conditioner, etc. An extra cooler and wagon are available in the laundry room for guests who might need them. Extra food/water bowls for the pups, along with a supply of towels to help us keep paws and floors in good condition. So many thoughtful extras-really appreciated. We loved the outside-big yard, great deck space, plenty of seating-the deck lights were another great touch that we enjoyed. The Tiki Bar is as cool as advertised.The dock was awesome, we had a great time fishing, and also just enjoyed sitting out on the dock, taking in the sights. A wonderful fenced yard for our 2 dogs with a path to the lake and dock.. Unfortunately the weather was not very accommodating for spending a lot of time relaxing outdoors but we did play with the dogs who completely enjoyed themselves. The bedrooms were very comfortable and having 3 bathrooms was a big plus for our family group of 7\. Everything was provided so we were able to begin our college tours immediately, before needing to shop. Ashley was an amazing host and was so easy to reach when/if we had any questions had any questions. If we are ever back in the area this is the home we would absolutely try to reserve!
