Very nice,characterful and comfortable hotel with good facilities and a really friendly and homely feel. Slightly noisy if your room is close to the stairs , but overall, strongly recommended !

Hotel room was a good size & comfortable. Staff were multi-lingual (including Italian, English, German, French) and helpful. Company / hotel policy did not allow them to book taxi in advance, only on a ‘want it now’ basis, which was a bit inconvenient. There was a small bar which did good toasted sandwiches - but this was the only food offering (outside of breakfast) as there was no restaurant, despite this being part of the listing on hotels.com. On advice from the barman we used an excellent restaurant just around the corner. Similarly, although there was a laundry bag in the room, and laundry facility was listed on hotels.com, there was no such facility for guests and staff advised using a self-service laundry about 1/2 mile away. There is a public bus stop very close to the hotel which was useful for getting to/from the centre of Verona. Underground, on-site, parking was ok - though spaces were small so with today’s size of cars most were spanning 2 bays which meant going down to the third level to get a space. The parking has a shuttered entry with a keypad to give access but, because contractors’ vans were parked whilst they were working on the side entrance to the hotel, there was no pull-in to enable registration and get the entry code - so we had to park ‘illegally’ whilst we got the entry code. Overall, it wasn’t bad, but we were disappointed at the facilities we’d expected not being available.

Just come back from a lovely stay, beautiful views and very friendly and accommodating staff. The room was very spacious, comfy and clean. The sauna was great with a fantastic view, the hot tub unfortunately was too cold for us but they did explain they had some faults. The staff were really good at responding to any questions. They also provided a free shuttle to the town, they did only have 3 timings to choose from with the latest time being 5.30pm, unfortunately with a small limited menu we decided to eat out most of the nights which meant we did have to walk back in the later evenings or get a taxi. The walk back is very up hill with harsh paths and no lighting which was quite scary after a drink or two! There is a taxi service which the hotel gave us their number, they were quick and it cost around 25 euros. Overall we would definitely be back but would definitely consider hiring a car!

The hotel was a good tourist hotel. But does need a refurbishment inside and out. The reception and breakfast area was fine.

Clean room, very helpful and friendly staff, breakfast was great. The perfect hotel near to the train station, that allowed us to explore Verona for the day!
