"This hotel is an absolute GEM! The property has been lovingly renovated and everything was very clean. The room was comfortable and had a lovely view of the mountains, and you could hear the river when you walked out onto the balcony. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, even encouraging us to go not skip Shönau am Könnigssee (no regrets - thank you!). The breakfast buffet was outstanding! The hotel is a very short walk to the main town and the train station. Our only complaint is that we only had two nights there. We will definitely be back!"

"Excellent location very close to the train station. Rooms are rather basic (no kettle/tissues) but there was a lovely cafe right next door inside a supermarket. Overall we enjoyed our stay here - it was very clean and quiet at night time."

"Very nice room, wonderful view, Pleasant and helpful staff (especially Holly and Julian), delicious breakfast. Poor WiFi in our room but good in central areas. A light blanket or throw would be helpful for the warm nights ( instead of the thicker down quilts)"
