The owners were absolutely brilliant, so friendly and helpful. The room, bathroom and breakfast were exceptionally clean and well presented. We had a lovely stay and couldn't have been bettered.

Unique and beautifully kept bed and breakfast Bev and David have transformed their place into a delightful restful comfortable bed and breakfast We so enjoyed staying there our room was spacious and the bed super compfy Our bathroom was lovely too we couldn’t fault anything Breakfast was full of variety and delicious beautiful gardens and lovely friendly hosts we had a great stay

Excellent find close to the centre of Alnwick. Fabulous welcome from David & Bev who were fabulous. Gave us great recommendations for places to eat & even booked a table for us. One of the best breakfasts we’ve had for ages…the eggy bread was heavenly. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re up in the North East.

Home from home

David and Bev are really great hosts, and they couldn’t have done more to help us enjoy our stay. A home from home with a very comfortable bed and thoroughly delicious breakfasts! Really great location and we would definitely stay again.

The property has been refurbished extremely well anticipating all your needs and is run by friendly & professional hosts & is well post access Alnwick town centre. We had a great time & would strongly recommend this property.

Five star B&B

Fabulous stay in a lovely B&B within easy walking distance of all the bars and Restaurants of Alnwick. We would definitely use this property again and recommend it to friends.

We stayed in the Tack room which was gorgeous. It is a large L shaped room with a small kitchen, a lounge area and a lovely bedroom area plus a very nice en suite shower room. There is also a private outside area which sadly we didn't use thanks to the weather. The room is really clean and very nicely decorated. Bev and John were really friendly and helpful. They provide breakfast in the room at an agreed time and it's gorgeous. My husband is coeliac and they were very careful to cater for him safely including getting gluten free bread and sausages. The property is about a 10 minute walk from the centre of Alnwick in a lovely location. We would definitely stay again.

Everything was excellent with lovely, friendly hosts. Extensive breakfast menu, all locally sourced and excellently cooked. Great location for town centre shopping, bars and restaurants (7mins walk), also for the castle and gardens. Can highly recommend this property.

Absolutely wonderful property and stay. Possibly the cleanest place we've ever stayed and the breakfast was superb. Incredibly warm and friendly welcome and service. Great location only 5 minutes walk into the bars and restaurants (go to Sonnet if you can't get a booking and like fine dining) Just stay here. You won't regret it

Great 3 days.

Have just stayed at the Coach House Alnwick for 3 nights. Very clean ,comfortable & superb breakfast. Well situated for Alnwick Gardens & Castle & the Northumberland coast. Would definitely recommend.

I'll open with this. This accommodation is fantastic, simple as that. It is not a hotel, it is much better. This is a private home that allow you to stay. The welcome when you get there is lovely, so warm and open and the couple who own it can't do enough for you to make your stay comfortable. Gorgeous room, fab bathroom and breakfast included with so many options. What they don't shout about is their local knowledge which is vast. Places to eat, to visit and to explore. Not just in Alnwick but in the wider area, totally invaluable. Just a lovely, lovely stay. Would we go back, heck yes at the drop of a hat.

Look no further, the Tack Room is superb! Excellent personal touch and details. Breakfasts delicious and you arrive to tea and cake. Quiet and kitted out for self catering if required. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hosts were excellent and nothing was too much trouble for them. There were lots of little extra touches from tea and cake when we arrived to glasses of sherry in our room. They had thought of everything and it was an easy walk to everything we wanted to visit in Alnwick. We'd highly recommend a stay here.

Another amazing stay at The Coach House. Bev and David are exceptional hosts who always go above and beyond to ensure we have everything we could possibly need. Fantastic breakfast using the freshest and finest ingredients and the pot of tea and cake on arrival is always welcome. Spotlessly clean. Can’t wait until we can return.

Our hosts were very helpful and welcoming, with good local knowledge. The accommodation was clean and spacious, bed was comfortable, excellent shower in a large private bathroom (and a bath too). An excellent breakfast was served in a separate private space. Couldn't fault it and would certainly return
